Bringing food into SW...

I know i have been flooding this board with questions the past couple of days. But, I am what you would call a SW newbie.

So, I would like to know if you can bring in some sandwiches, water etc. into the parks, like you can in Disney?

And can we meet Elmo and his buddies in the park? Or can we only get a meet and greet if we go to the breakfast buffet?

Yes, Sea World allows you to bring in food. We do and have never been hassled about it. The food prices at Sea World are very high. Bringing ours in saves us a lot of money and saves time waiting in food lines.

I'm pretty sure you can. I've seen people with them. We bring in an insulated backpack I carry on my motorized scooter.

Thanks alot. I am getting so excited. I get to go to SW with discounted tickets and I get to save even more money by bringing most of our food into the park with us.

And my kids don't even know yet.

The Sesame characters have meet and greets first thing in the morning (until the end of the month) (weather permitting!)

Elmo, Bert, Ernie and Cookie are usually available for the meet and greet. There are also scheduled shows during the day (weather permitting) at Bayside stadium.

The cooler can only be a small one though, and they will look in it... larger items must be left in the car, I believe they are looking at rebuilding the old picknic area outside and stop allowing coolers in a few years.
