DCL Question

Can Category 1, 2 or 3 cabins be booked with points? Can I pay cash for the difference between the Cat 4 (on points) and a Cat. 3? Also, do I have to have the points available as of the date I book or as of the date I sail? Thanks in advance!

It is my understanding that you can only book cat 4-11 with DVC because DCL has too much of a demand for the 1-3. Your points are used when you book, so you may have to borrow ahead. It is my understanding that DVC pays DCL for these trips when you book them, so any cash that you use is due when you book, plus your $75 fee. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. Erin
