It's good to see these come out.
truedisneyfan: They are good for postage.
Of course, there area HUGE numbers of Disney Stamps available from numerous other countries. Those are quite collectable.

Never, enshrine them, frame them, display them, but never use them!

I have a sheet with a gold border and a powder blue border, they are currently packed with the remodel, not sure now which one I missed now.

The 1st set came out in June 2004 and was called "The Art of Disney - Friendship". The stamps included one with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. The other three were Bambi and Thumper, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, Mufasa & Simba.
The 2nd set came out in June 2005 and was called "The Art of Disney - Celebration". The stamps included Mickey & Pluto (Mickey's holding a cake), Alice and the Mad Hatter, Ariel and Flounder, and Snow White with Dopey.

We purchased one sheet of each set to keep in the glassine envelopes that the PO gives them to you in, *{I guess this kind of classifies as "collecting" stamps,} then buy about 200+ of each style to use throughout the year.
* The PO LOVES when clods like us do this!

It's nothing new, but for those who don't know, you can create your own not-boring USPS stamps using your own photos/artwork. There are several services that print these, one of which being Zazzle ( http://www.zazzle.com/custom/stamps )
