Back From Poly

I got back from the Poly about a week ago. We were there for 7 days. If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer them!

Curious as to what longhouse you were in and what type of room you booked. Also, how was new pool?
We are going in August, booked garden view. leaning towards Tahiti bldg 2nd floor. What floor were you on?

Just returned from 10 days on 4/22/01. Sunny or partly sunny all vacation. 2 days in low 90's. 1 day in 70's. Remainder 83-87 for highs. Lows 50's-60's.

Prior: Caribe Royale, Embassy Suites- offsite, Dixie Landings-onsite
Easter 2001: Marriott Orlando World Center, Hyatt

We stayed in the Tokelau building on the 2nd floor and the room was huge! We heard a castmember at the Poly say that besides the suites, those were the biggest rooms in all of Walt Disney World! The weather was excellent, it rained for about 20 min. the whole time we were there. It was great weather for swimming, but the new pool was WAY too crowded (they should check for resort id's because we saw people coming in with beach bags and towels!) Also, the new volcano looks awsome there, but the slide in it isn't that great. We had a great time!!!!!

I have never been to poly, and never stayed at a deluxe hotel, we will be traveling with 3 small children and are thinking of poly. Is it a good place for kids?

Yes, it's a great resort for kids! The pool is great for kids and they will have a blast. :D
