My family and I are probably getting the dining plan and I read somewhere that some restaurants don't have kids menus. I presume that means the kids can order like the adults can.

Does anyone have a list of places that are like this? I find it odd that at some places the main food isn't on the menu for kids, for instance, the pizza place in AK doesn't have pizza for kids. :confused3

To my knowledge neither Victoria and Albert's or Bistro de Paris have children's menus. Of course neither of them take DDP either.

And what is a "kid's pizza"? Something the size of an english muffin?

These may be the only two places that don't have a kids menu.
You can click on our menu link and I believe you'll find most of the kids menus posted along with the main restaurant menus.

There is currently no kids menu at the Toy Story Pizza Planet in MGM, so you could get your child an "adult" pizza there using child meal credits.

Of course, they could add a kid's menu there at any time...

By the way, welcome to the DIS!!! :welcome:

Other than the three mentioned, I can't think of any other place, table serivce or counter service, that doesn't have a kid's meal. As for Toy Story, the pizzas there are individual pizzas so are suitable for kids to eat. How much smaller of a pizza do you want? The aforementioned English muffin size? I don't eat much but I'm even hungry after an individual pizza at Toy Story Pizza Planet.

I think the OP meant that she thought it strange they didn't offer pizza as a kids choice at Pizzafari (or whatever it's called; the pizza place in AK). Most people going to eat at a place called "Pizzafari" would expect to find pizza on the kid's menu, you would think.

I believe Casey's doesn't have a kids menu either.

The same thing for Columbia Harbour House. The kids menu doesn't offer any battered fish:confused3 Go figure

I think there are actually quite a few CS places that don't have a kids' menu, at least not one that I've seen on Allears or WDWInfo. Off the top of my head, Boulangerie Patisserie, Refreshment Port, Caseys, Toy Story Pizza, and Toluca Turkey Legs, but there could be more.

As far as the Toy Story pizzas, their combo meals are great for sharing! DH & DS might get their own, but DD & I can happily share a salad & pizza meal and have more than enough for the two of us.

The kids' CS menus still pretty much stink. There's no fish of any kind on the kids' menu at Columbia Harbour House, for cripes sake! That's another reason we're looking forward to the deluxe plan - no CS means no griping about having a choice of mac & cheese or grilled chicken at every restaurant from Columbia Harbour House to Pizzafari! We'd upgrade DS9 to an adult on the standard plan, but the TS menus are good enough that he'll be fine as the kid he is on the deluxe plan.

Its wasn't "restaurants" but counter service restaurants w/o kids menus.

Here's the current list (from that thread) of eateries that don't have a child menu:

• Catalina Eddie
• Taluca Turkey Legs
• Cool Wash Pizza
• Casey's
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs
• Pizza Planet
• Sommerfest
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop
