The relaxing part of the trip was now over. Today was the day of the beginning of some wonderful memories. We were driving back to Tampa and meeting my dad and going to Busch Gardens and then I was meeting a DISer this evening. I was so excited for my dad that I could hardly wait. It had 23 years since he was last in Florida!!

Of course being the huge coaster lover that I am, we had to hit them all but the first one we hit was The Quasi - a dual track wooden coaster...awesome!!! But of course didn't get a pic of it :D After we finished Quasi we strolled around a bit and ran into this happening...

It was Jack Hanna in person!!! They appeared to be filming a show or something. And of course it was all roped off but I tried to get an up close pic with my camera in the next pic.

Now, little did I know what could happen on this ride. I only knew I didn't feel like getting wet so I stayed back and held all of our stuff. And man..am I glad I did!!!!

Of course we had to eat lunch at the Festaus and compare it to the awesome atmosphere and food at BG in Williamsburg. It compared very well!!! Same great taste!!! And good entertainment....

Well we had had a busy day. So we headed back to our hotel after dropping dad off at his hotel. Dr. P. had to be back to register for his conference which was the reason we were in FL to begin with. After freshing up and relaxing for a bit I went down to the lobby for my long awaited meeting of a DISer...BSNYDER and her dd Allison.

Bsnyder and myself - ever since we knew that dh had his conference in Tampa, Bet and I had been talking about meeting. It wasn't until a few days before we left that I was able to finalize the meeting...and I'm so glad I did!!! We had a very nice dinner and chat. Thanks BET!!!
It was now time to get to bed and gets lots of rest for what was to come the next two days!!!! The best time of my dads life!!!!
