Image background help

Could someone please tell me how if at all possible to get just the image of the clipart and not the background around it. For example I have a clipart of Mickeys face but I do not want the white around it. I also have a picture of Cinderella I want to put her on a pink background, but the white shows up. TIA

I have Print Workshop 2007 and Photo Studio.

I'm sorry, but I have no experience with either of those programs. I hope someone will come along to help you.

I'm not familiar with either of those programs but I can turn the background transparent for you if you want to send them to me.
