We got both of our RSP results for the Sept event today. We got everything we asked for on our 1st RSP's, but not everything on the 2nd RSP's, which was fine with us. Hope everyone got what they wanted and look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.

I was shocked. I got a few things on the 3rd RSP that I did not even think would be on the second.

This included the Logo Pin (1200), Figment Pan (1000) and the Figment World Framed Set ((300). And on the 2nd RSP I also got the Mickey and Figment Sculpt (300).

I really expected almost all of these to sell out on the 1st RSP, especially since the Early Registration Gift Pin is 1047.

Hope to hear from more people that got their RSP results today! I am guessing we will get ours tomorrow.

We got ours today. Got almost everything; did not get two LE250s (Degree for Dory and Ducks on Safari) that we had requested. Got plenty of the Figment Framed set, however...

I got everything I wanted on my RSP. We haven't received Carol's yet. She only wanted two pins and one was the Dory Whaleology. Interesting that one went fast!

Our RSPs came today too. Got everything we wanted except for the Tink framed set. Got the Tink box set though. And both the Figment sculpt and framed set and Figment Pan which are the reasons I got sucked into this pin event in the first place! I have to say I'm happy and can't wait to get my hands on everything in September!

I got mine today as well... very excited as this is my first event :cool1: I got all but 3 that I wanted... the Dory one, the Buzz Lightyear and aliens, and the Tink framed set. I did get all the figment ones I wanted though, which is super because that's the reason I got sucked into this! :goodvibes Hope everyone else has good luck!

I saw on another board that some people got multiples of the Tink Framed set, so you might want to wander over to see if you can acquirer one. Otherwise with the returns you might get lucky on the 4th RSP. I was just looking at the updated picture of the Tink Frame set and they chose a very nice frame for those pins.

We did pretty well on our RSPs. We did put them together a little rushed one night because things have been so busy. So, it is no surprise that I actually missed putting down a couple of pins. Not to say that we didn't get quite a few, but through no one's fault but my own I missed actually asking for a couple pins :confused3

Glad to hear that everyone is getting what they are looking for! Makes for a lot of happy traders!!

Vince, Glad you got your RSP. I have a few extras, so I am not sure I can help you out, but let me know what you are missing.

Now I have to figure out how they are going to do the $3.00 pins, if its a combination of money or if its actually by each individual.

Scott, the promo pins last year were done per person.

So, I couldn't take, say a $100 pin, from my order/RSP and transfer over to Suzanne's so that her order would meet one of the increments for the $3.00 pin?

Not if it wasn't on her RSP to begin with. I don't believe you can move/transfer pins from your RSP to her RSP.

Got mine the other day. Got everything I asked for. Still deciding on whether to keep/trade/return the Scoop pin. At this point I want to see it in person to see if it "wows" me or not. $95 is alot for a pin and I'm stretching the budget a little to go to the event this year.

Dom, please wait until the event to look at this pin before you decide. We were lucky enough to see a prototype (and apparently the second version of the prototype) when we were in Florida for the Pirate Event in May and in my opinion, this is one of the nicest pins I have ever seen! The pin that I saw was much larger than expected and very detailed. I think that it is going to be one of the most sought after pins at the event once people lay eyes on it.

Darn!!! I am like a $1.50 away from one of the thresholds on one of our RSP's

Dom, I'm on the fence about the Scoop pin too. I got to see the prototype pin too, but I am not a big Scoop fan, ducking for all the pins that just got thrown at me, but as Vince says, I will wait to put it in my hands to make my final decision.

Scott, last year we wound up missing the highest promo pin amount by mere dollars on one RSP and I was able to call Special Events and add one more pin (I picked a logo pin just because I was certain that it would be available) and they added it on right away and I was able to purchase the highest level promo pin when we got to the event.

I hope this helps!

Suzi - that is excellent to know. We played the $ game this year (someone wanted the C&D pin; certainly not I) and we hit the number.

Figments for everyone!

I added several items I did not strongly want to my list so that I would be able to buy all six pins after my 20% CM discount. Since I was able to get extras of some of the expensive items I have already turned back #14, 51 and 52.

Suzi, Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately they aren't allowing that this year. I spoke with them today and they will let you add, but it won't qualify for a higher level promo purchase. The reason is that ALL of the promo pins are sold out at ALL levels based on the RSP results. So, you can't qualify for a higher level as the pin is not available.

I asked that the assumption here is that everyone will choose to purchase the promo pin, which may or may not happen, and she said yes, but they are treating them as sold out.

Just thought I would pass this along.

I also saw the prototype at the Pirates Event and I was very impressed with the pin. I'm so happy I was able to get one!

DD and I got everything we put in for. This was the least amount of merchandise we've ever purchased at an event, though.

?????

Is this Disney creating an artificial sense of urgency around pins with the hope that more people will add on?
