Fun, Sun and Mickey ~ Easter 2007 ~ Day 10

Weather ~ sunny, very hot 85*F

We originally planned to go to Universal Studios today but because my back was still slightly tender we decided to go somewhere else instead and leave Universal for a couple more days. We decided to go to Magic Kingdom so headed there after breakfast.

We headed straight over to Adventureland and did the Jungle Cruise. It was very hot today and a couple of people were fainting in the line for this.

There was an earlier showing of the Disney Dreams Come True Parade at 12pm so we watched this as we thought it would probably be less crowded than the afternoon one. I love watching the parades and this was a lovely one with beautiful music. :wizard:

The park was getting very busy now so after Francesca had bought a Minnie Mouse dress we had an ice-cream, found the Lady and Tramp heart and decided to go and play mini golf.

We went to Fantasia Gardens and spent a lovely afternoon away from the crowds.

When we’d finished playing we were famished so we went back to Magic Kingdom and had only just entered Town Square when we spied Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny ~ well, of course we had to go have a photo taken with them!

We went to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe for something to eat. Danielle and Francesca had cheeseburger and fries, Samantha and I had chicken wrap and fries, and Bryan had a bacon burger and fries. Mmmmm these were very good and we loved the Fixin’s bar.

then browsed the shops, then went to explore Toontown (I love Mickey’s and Minnie’s houses, they are so cute) and had some photos taken with Mickey in the Judge’s Tent

then more shopping, finally getting home about 1am after a perfect day.

Great day. I can hold my hands up to fainting in a Disney queue. I was pregnant at the time:goodvibes Fainted once in Animal Kingdom Safari ride queue and then again in Epcot - Honey I shrunk the Audience queue:eek:
