Hi! I'm a new poster on the Wish board but not Weight Watchers which I've been doing since March 6th!

I'm in my 22nd week at Weight Watchers at work. This is my 4th time on the program. On my second I went from 205 lbs to 183 lbs during my freshmen year in college however summer vaca happened, and well I lost all my motivation. Over the four years I gained it all back and...20 lbs. Eeep! I tried a third time and I wasn't really feeling the meeting/program. However, this time I'm doing my best ever!

I started at 225.8 lbs and am in "onederland" at 190.4 lbs! This is the most weight I've ever lost and it keeps me motivated to just keep going and going!

My motivation, is my husband. He's been in Iraq for 9 months with 5 more to go and I'm damned determined to be in an Ann Taylor dress for his homecoming. I wanted to concentrate on "me" and get this healthy lifestyle underway so when he comes home I look amazing and can keep us on the healthy track.

I would like to add, this time I've been more on track than I ever have and my goal seems achievable for the first time in my life. The lowest adult weight I've been was 180 and I'm creeping up on it. I can't WAIT to see 179. I think I just may faint, ha!

I've been working out since the end of April and I think that's helped me lose the 17 inches and really tone down the fat on my body. Just last week I tried spin class for the first time and I'm in love. It was so amazing!

I update my mom over e-mail at work and she said I'm a changed Lisa. I really do think I am. I think my husband sure is going to be so proud of me when he comes home.

Here are some comparison photos of my 35.4 lbs lost as of last Monday!
This is after 17 lbs http://web.mac.com/lisafalcone/iWeb/Site/Library%2024_files/7821013311_progress.jpg
This is after about 24 lbs http://web.mac.com/lisafalcone/iWeb/Site/Library%2029_files/Picture%201.jpg
This was after 28 lbs when I had been working out for about 10 weeks http://web.mac.com/lisafalcone/iWeb/Site/Comparisons_files/Picture%202.jpg
And, I never thought I'd post myself in a bathing suit but I think I look quite cute, haha

Wow you look great! I know how it feels to do the yoyo dieting thing! I was down to 190 just this April and now i've gained back some of the weight and i'm back up to 209. Each time I lose weight though I tend to stay about 15 lbs lighter than the last time, even with a gain back. At the beginning of 2006 I weighted 245 lbs, the heaviest I have ever been in my life, at the beginning of 2007 I weighed 226 (I had gotten down to 200 earlier in the year for my trip to Europe), and I dieted during my final semester at school to get down to 190. Like I said before i'm at 209 again currently and i'm starting today to get myself going. Maybe this time i'll dip into the 170s, it would be nice to get somewhere and be able to stay there though! I started a weight loss challenge on a site which really helped me the first time, weighins.com, and the challenge is the Pirate and Princess challenge. I found that having somewhere to journal and a support system really helped me, as do these boards. You are doing great, and an inspiration for me to get my butt going again!!!

Hi! You look great. Keep up the good work. I wish I could have some of the will power that you have. I got up today saying(as I do everyday) that this will be the day that everything will "click" and I am able to follow the WW program. I think it will! Keep posting more pictures. Does your husband know that you have lost the weight, or will it be a suprise?

You look great and you ar doing a fantastic job! Congratulations! As a repeat WW joiner, I just have to say you get to a point where it finally "clicks" and everything starts to fall in place. It sounds like it has "clicked" for you. I wish you all the best on your journey, it is a hard journey, made even harder with your DH being gone, but you can do this, you are doing this and just think how fabulous you will look in that Ann Taylor dress.....you will have to scrape your DH's jaw off of the ground!

Well, it is hard to describe. I finally woke up one morning back in March ready to commit and the motivation was my husband. I'm so proud of him and I wanted him to be proud of me back here in the States. I wanted to show and prove to him that I could do something really hard and challenging and be okay while he was gone.

Thank you all for the words of encouragement and congratulations! Tiggerlover, you're absolutely right. For whatever reason, WW "clicked" with me this go around and it's so great. I wish I could figure out what it was so that I could motivate others to stay with the program when they feel down

Wow, you look awesome. Congratulations on your success. And thank you to your husband for standing up for our country. It must be very difficult on you. God bless and keep him safe so he'll be home with his beautiful wife soon.
