I was hoping some of you might know of some extra magic at DLP since we've never been before. We love how at WDW you can rent a pontoon boat with a driver and watch the fireworks while eating dinner, all of the backstage tours, how you can contact Gifts of a Lifetime to arrange something special, arranging surprises in the room through the hotel or Disney Floral, or any of the other gift basket companies, etc. Anything similar for Disneyland Paris anyone can think of? Of course it will be special no matter what, since it will be our first time there, but thought some extra magic could be fun!

Hi Tess and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1477038), DIS posting guidelines can be found here (http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm) and details regarding help on signatures here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=976007)

You can eat in the Disneyland Hotel and have a wonderful view of the castle since you are right at the park :goodvibes

They do guided tours (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practical/guidedtours/) of both the Disneyland Park and the Studios, which are very good value. They also do a Priviledge Tour of both parks which is slightly more expensive!! ;)

If you're visiting when during the Christmas season, when Fantillusion is on about 7 or 8 pm, then book a table at Walt's, (ask very nicely for a window seat if you can) and enjoy the view :cloud9:

If the weather is good, and you don't mind heights, then go up in the PanoraMagique Balloon (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/disneyvillage/attractions/panoramagique/)

I highly recommend the tour of the Disneyland park. I thought it was great and I got a special pin and VIP seats for the Parade too!
Make a point of going to City Hall and speaking to the CMs there - they are all so chatty and helpful. They will go out of their way to make sure you have a magical visit. :goodvibes

When I was ther in may the Tour was offered in French, German, Dutch and English. They have all the details in City Hall and sometimes put the times and languages available on a chalkboard in Main Street. Even if you know most of the information I think the CMs can answer questions and give you details that you don't get from books or the web.

Does anyone know how far in advance you have to book these tours? Or can they be booked at short notice?

Thanks :)
