.... But do you celebrate Halloween?

Yeah, a lot of you guys are like 15-18. But do you still get dressed up? No, it doesn't have to be to go for candy. But do you guys get dressed up?

If so, what are you going to be this year?

I've decided to be a 50's chick this year. I don't know what I'm doing trick-or-treating wise, but I hope I can go with my friends.

Last year my friend and I just bought all this orange and black stuff from Claire's and walked around town, we only went to a couple houses when we got hungry :P We were 14 then.

We'll probably do something like that again this year too...

Halloween is my favourite holiday.
I love to celebrate it.

I probably will get dressed up and go trick-or-treating this year as long as I find someone to come with me.

I think this year I might be a Hippy but I'm not sure yet.:hippie:

I am so excited for October 1 when Disney Channel starts to play all of there halloween specials and same with ABC Family which starts on Oct. 18.

I'll be 13 this halloween and I'm still going to dress up and trick or treat. I usually trick or treat with my cousin, Lindsey, who's 22. She still dresses up and gets candy, but then again she could pass as an 8th grader.

I don't really know what I'm going to be this year. I don't decide this early. But I have some ideas:

Asian Girl (I'll just wear this pretty Asian dress I got from a flea market a few years ago)

Vampire Princess

Black Cat (A black leotard and skirt with ears and drawn o whiskers)

But here are some things I've been in past halloween:

Dorothy from Wizard of Oz
Asian Girl
Vampire
Ribbon Dancer (Grade K)
Cinderella
Angel
Princess
Ballerina
50's Dancer
And I think Belle...
And others

On actual Halloween though I'll just be at home.

I'm 13 and I still love it. Unfortunately my friends think they are too "mature" to dress up. :\
This year I shall either be a pirate or a cow *as mentioned*

I haven't for the past 2 years. My brother has but I don't think he is this year. But I might dress up anyway and go around and we'll dress up my baby cousin as tinkerbell or something. And carry her around and get candy. I don't know. But I've been:

Tinkerbell
Princess
Cheerleader
Clown. xD
An Old Man....YES. I had boots and overalls and a mask and I had a cane. I dressed up at school and I'd limp around chasing everybody. They judged costumes and I got it in our class. That was the best...it was really fun. :D
...umm I had a black cape and a red mask. [We were running low on good costumes.
Ghost. My grandma took a sheet and cut holes out...I made her cut one out for my nose. :D
Pumpkin
Black cat I think...
Hmm...and the rest I can't think of.

Free candy + an excuse to dress up = Heck yeah!

Halloween is awesome- the only unpleasant thing about it having to choose only one costume. This year I'm torn between a Starfleet and Delbert, and other costumes are always a possibility. (And if I do go with the Star Trek outfit, which era do I go with? Argh, decisions. :teeth:)

Last year, my cousin came over and we took we her daughter around the neighborhood. She was a fairy. Sooo cute. I didn't get any candy personally, but it was super fun.

I've been...

Minnie Mouse
50's chick
Pumpkin
A little gray mouse

Lots of other stuff I can't remember.

Because Im dressing up.

And on actual Halloween, the last... two(?) years I haven't gone trick or treating, but I dressed up and handed out candy.

Last year I didn't dress up, but the year before that I was Princess Leia ( I even had hair long enough to do the buns) Sure I'll dress up, but last year I just didn't want to, and I would have gone alone..and two years ago we were in Disney. :p

I love dressing up for Halloween and so do the people in my high school!

I think that Halloween is for people of all ages! There are even teachers who get into the spirit! I love going with my little brother trick-or-treating (sometimes they give me candy because I am a "sweet sister."

Spice girls. I think I'm going to be sporty spice. My friends and I have it all planned out. We might go see the spice girls concert, also. We're obsessed. It's sad. Yesterday I went over there and we watched Spice World.

I am going to go as three-hole-punched Jess again this year to school (we can dress up at school on Halloween) just as a tribute to "The Office". I haven't trick-or-treated in years. Trick-or-treating was never something I really liked doing - I just did it for my mom's sake. I even stayed home one year when I was 6 with my grandpa and handed out candy because I've always found it more fun than trick-or-treating. This is why I'm so excited for Halloween this year...we finally have a house which means I get to hand out candy this year!...but not to those old kids without costumes...they deserve nothing.

I may this year. What I'll be I have no idea. My friend is thinking about throwing a small Halloween party, with us all chilling in his backyard. And if he does it, it'll probably not be costume, or costume optional. It'll be a ton of 15-16 year old guys, so I'm sure a few will wear masks and try to scare me. I might dress up as Tinkerbell, if I do, anyway.

You could dress up as a volleyball player! lol. :rotfl:

Um, DUH! I still dress up! Two years ago, I was a pirate. I found these really tall boots at Plato's Closet for like $8 and they made me like 6 feet tall. :rotfl: I was only 12! People kept asking me how old I was! :rotfl:

IDK what I'll be this year. I wanna be a bag of jellybeans as of now. But I wont make my final decision until like the night before! :rotfl:

Just from what I remember my mom telling me a few years ago:

You blow up a bunch of different colored balloons.
Cut 4 holes (2 for arms;2 for legs) in a clear garbage bag.
Write 'Jellybeans' on the front.
Fill bag with balloons.
Tie bag loosely around neck.
Dress in white sweatshirt and sweatpants

And to be a bathtub:
Get a big, round tub like tote thing.
Somehow attach straps for around your shoulders.
Blow up little white balloons(for the bubbles).
Dress in white sweatshirt and sweatpants.

:goodvibes I think she found these in a Family Fun Magazine. :goodvibes

My friends and I always do something together! We always do a theme though(like we all dress up alike or with a group of characters!). We usually go trick-or-treating then go to a party or something. Last year we were all disney princesses. I was Cinderella. We went and got our make-up and hair all fancied up for the party. This year we decided we are going to be 80's chicks. We are very excited. I already have some stuff for it! I got some bright sparkely purple leggings.

I love Halloween.

I might still go trickor treating I'm fifteen but my sister went last year so theres no reason to why I can't.

I also need a costume for the halloween parade I'm going to be in. so i dunno.

Maybe a cat. I'll just buy some ears and a tail. And wear a dance leotard and shorts.
Or something I dunno yet.

Last year was the first year I really did Halloween.

We went to these houses that are huge and are practically mansions and we went door to door asking for candy. It was so funny because it was like 14 of us and everytime we knocked they were like "I'm going to be left without any candy, because of you guys..."

They all thought we lived there but we didnt. ;)

I used to dress up every year and go trick-or-treating.

Last year I couldn't. I think I had rehersal.

So this year, i'm supposed to. We're going as Japanese people with our Kimonos and whatnot. It'll be fun. We'll re-live some memories from the last show we did at the theatre.
