Well have been craming info from the boards. And driving myself crazy. Haven't read as much as I like beacuse I have to had my dad in A nursing home in less then 2 weeks..........

So I am wondering do most people take a bag while there, like at Disney. I am wondering what essentials I can take in my pockets so I don't have to wait. Or If should just take the backpack.

Should we do Universal or IOA first...? We are to get into the airport by 9:45 and hopefully to HRH no later than 12. Should we hang at the hotel or go to City Walk or hit some of the wet rides to get out of the way. This is next THursday when we get there......or go to City walk for a nice meal and relax at the pool. Also the fireworks end the weekend we are there are they worth seeing?

Does anyone go back to the hotel for the after noon and go back later in the eveing or will you have to go all day long to see the whole park in one day. We will leave the HRH around SUnday at noon.....

DO MOST OF YOU WALK TO THE PARKS FROM HRH I AM ASSUMING TIS IS SHORTER.......?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

relax. its not going to be hard since you are staying at HRH. I dont take a bag into the park at all myself. I have a lanyard that I got at walmart that holds my ticket , my room key (very important for fotl) and a little cash. If you have AAA put that card in there also, you get a discount for food.

I like to go in the morning, and leave midday and go back to the room and chill or go to the pool. It is 5 minutes from the park to HRH. Then I go back late afternoon or evening. Very easy, very relaxing day. If you notice that there is a long line in the express line on a ride, skip it and come back later. The express lines arent time-clocked like at disney, every once in a while, like after a show lets out a big group might show up and suddenly the line is long. Just skip it and come back later and it will probably be gone.

If you decide you need to take a bag (some people just need them) remember you have to put it in a locker at a few of the rides.

Take your time and look around. There is a lot to see!

Can you have your room charged for purchases like at WDW and pay the total at the front desk......Don't want to carry a lot of cash or credit cards if I don't have too......

You can charge things in the park on your room key- we do it all the time. I never carry a bag- I just wear a lanyard with my room key and park pass. We usually go to the park early morning and head back to the room mid-day. It is so easy to go between parks and resorts that any time is O.K. Hope you have a great time!

I would recommend taking as little as possible to the parks so you can wear cargo shorts and you won't have to worry about bags...which is what I do. Universal does not allow carry on bags on some of the attractions unlike Disney so plan accordingly...just take what you may need.
