Who has stayed in one of the new villas at AKL?? What did you think of the room??? How was it staying in the regular lodge just on a different DVC floor??? I am just thinking ahead if it'll be nicer to be at the new building or in the regular lodge?? Thanks for any info!

If you are in the main lodge or new building shouldn't make a lot of difference, since the rooms in the main building were gutted, rearranged, and made new for DVC.

try it and see.
these are 2-bedroom lockout - so they make three 2-bedroom or 3 1-bedroom and 3 studios.
just depends upon what the members want.
You might get march you might not.

We have a 1 bedroom concierge booked for the first week of March. I'd give it a try and see if anything is open.

Yesterday I booked a one bedroom concierge at AKV for the last week in February. My home resorts are SSR and VWL. :cool1:
So it is possible in the 7 month window. They did not have any studios in concierge for this week, however.

Click here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1522867) for a really good thread by one of our DVC DIS friends that also includes pictures of her AKV stay.
