We are headed back to PB(again!) for the first week of September to celebrate my husband's and son's birthdays. We will be in a Portifino suite this time and had some questions about it. Where are they located? Anyone have a preference on location? Does anyone have any pictures they would share? Thanks for any help!! I want to make this a special trip for the family this time.

Here are my pictures from my trip in February. The first two pictures are of the portofino suite we had before being moved into the villa suite. We were in the west wing.

Thanks Damo- great pictures! Is there one bathroom and one television in the Portifino suite?
The Villa suite is huge!! Was that balcony as big as it looks in pictures? That looks like a great location also.

There are two televisions. One in each room.

There are two bathrooms. The one with the bedroom has the shower in the bathtub. The other bathroom just has a shower and no bathtub

Thanks again Damo! I don't know what we will do with all that space! Are they located through:cool1: out the resort or just in one area? My favorite location so far has been the east wing( I don't mind walking).

Ours was in the west wing overlooking the bay.

Don't get too caught up in location, we didn't request location for our last stay and were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a hospitality suite from our reserved Portofino suite. Loews doesn't like to let many of their best rooms sit idle so I personally would let location go for the chance of an upgrade. Pics of a hospitality suite can be seen here. Wow Calgarygary! What an incredible suite!! The pictures are beautiful( the girls in the picture are beautiful too). I will just wait and see what they give us and not request any certain location. Thanks for the advice!

My two older girls were a little upset when they saw these pics because they had to stay and work in Calgary the first week of our trip and missed out on this suite and the US/IOA portion of our stay. The location of the hospitality suites is not terribly convenient the main pool or club lounge but I would easily sacrifice location for that type of upgrade any time!

I would walk miles to have a suite like that! How do you add club privledges to a suite? Is it done before you arrive or do you ask when you check in?

After booking, we decided to add club to our reservation so emailed the PBR and had the change made. That increased our room rate to $299.20/night from June 30 - July 4th. At check in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a hospitality suite but that it wasn't ready. Knowing what this meant, I spent the day at US anxious to get back to the PBR to see the room.
