I am just about to write a letter of complaint to Virgin and thought I'd ask...is it just me, or have you had this problem too?
I emailed Virgin three weeks ago to ask a simple question. I got a standard automated reply saying that they'd get back to me. Since then, nada, niente, nulla, nix, nothing.
But, they haven't answered the question I asked them in April...
or the question I asked them in January.
To be fair I was only asking them to help me spend some money on thier services.
Is it just me? :sad2:

To be honest I have never trusted this system. I can imagine they get soooo many emails that they cant keep up. Annoying as it is. Perhaps giving them a ring next time might help.
Good luck and hope you get it sorted out.

Usually takes them 2-3 weeks to answer my emails. You really need to ring for a response.

Whilst Virgin are always our choice for who to fly with their customer service levels have dropped considerably over the past couple of years.

I have never had a reply to an email sent to virgin and usually ring on the frequent virgin line, for some reason you can get through better.:)

VH= dont use em anymore.

My point (or one of them) is that I don't understand why they offer the chance to email if you end up having to ring anyway.

I don't know.... but Virgin are no different than most big companies... many will not reply to your emails.
It is rubbish, but as other posters have said, the best answer is to just phone...

Agree with Alice they are no diff to NTL, Universal, Disney etc. email responses are hit and miss with all big companies. No idea why they even offer the services if they can't respond.

I have never had a problem with Virgin, they have always been very helpful but i did phone them. I did send 2 e-mails my first went un-answered but my 2nd was. I questioned this on the phone and they said that e-mail system to every company is not brilliant as they have to rely on theirs and your service provider and a number of problems do occur.

I have had problems with emails not being answered or not actually answering the question asked. As I am only red level for FC I objected to ringing an 0870 number if I didn't need to. They did finally issue the missing eticket and then rang us to tell us the flight time had changed so we could then access the details online. So in the end OK.
