My kids have saved their Disney Dollars and wondered how many it will take to rent bikes at BW. I said I would ask at the boards. Anyone have an idea? They are very proud of spending the Disney Dollars they have earned.

I'd like to know too! Also, can you get all the way around the lake or do you get to Y&BC and then turn around and come back?

I am sorry I can't answer how much it costs but I can answer that you can go all the way around the lake. But just so you know it is very tireing. We rented the 2 seater with extra room in the front for our 4 and 5 year olds (they are tall kids, but not tall enough to peddle on their own). We went around the whole lake twice and my husband and I were very tired.

are you referring to he Surrey bikes or the regular bicycles?

I was talking about the regular bikes but I'm not sure about tripletvan. Now I'm thinking maybe we'll just take a nice casual stroll around the lake instead. ;)

they do rent regular bikes at Community Hall. Adults and kids sizes. Not sure on the rates though...

Yes I am referring to the regular bikes. We have rented the surries when we vacation in Cape May NJ and they are a killer if you go anywhere but flat!

It is about 8/10ths of a mile around..there are two small hills that on a regular bike should be no problem but on the surrey they were a bit of a challenge. I think I remember the regular bikes being like $6 an hour? The surrey was $18 for a half hour?--These are vague recollections....don't quote me...

i don't know about the reg bikes but, the 6 seater cost 22.00 a half hour. it was a bit of a challenge to get up those small hills but we did it. they were fun & we took a great picture in it .

We rented the 4pax surray bike (2 adults, 1 11yr old, 2 basket sitters), and after the first go around, we were exhausted. Why pay $20 (half hour) to work out. By the third trip, we got out and push it uphill.
