What is the DVC policy on smoking in rooms? Are there designated smoking and non-smoking rooms as there are in many hotels?
I personally cannot tolerate even residual smoke so I'm hoping I can be guaranteed to be in a room where no one has smoked.
Thanks.

Yes, non-smoking rooms are available. Make sure you make that as a request with your reservation. As always, requests are noted but not guaranteed- but they do try to accommodate these requests.
Most units are non smoking so the odds are in your favor. If the problem is a medical reason, they put those the highest priority.

Thank you both.
That's a good point Dean. I do have medical reasons (asthma is one) for not being able to tolerate smoke, so it's good that they would give me priority.

hi: at bwv, the entire 5th floor is non-smoking. if i remember correctly, the 4th floor was mixed. i would assume that bcv will do something similar. when you are making your requests to ms, put them in priority order: non-smoking for your medical reason, and then other requests (views, elevators, etc)
