Did Anyone Get a AAA rate for Dec 08 yet?

I phoned CRO tonight and they said they were not in the system yet, but I think I saw someone say they got it already.. I should phone back in the morning just to make sure. I am wondering what your experience is, did you get it already or not.. and is there a place to apply codes online or do I have to call?

I know that we had to wait a few days last year through our AAA TA for the AAA rates to be set after the rack rates came out.

I booked the WL yesterday morning with AAA, as a package, for December 2008.

We got our package today as well. But POR is booked for Dec already. Had a hard time getting dates.

The CM I talked to today said the POR was booked up, he talked to me for a long time about favorite resorts and how quick they sell out.
I am glad I booked and I am in the cabins and now I just need to book my dvc resort which I can't do until Jan then I am good to go!

I just made a ressie at the Contemporary Resort for early December '08 with the AAA discount. :thumbsup2

There weren't many choices, tower theme park view and garden wing deluxe room. The arrival day I wanted was already sold out (12/7/08)! Hopefully I can add it later.

What I have been told by the CM's I talked to is that many of the rooms haven't been released for December '08 yet. I am having a hard time getting anything for December 6-14, 2008. I haven't even been trying to get a AAA rate.

I received a AAA quote from a travel agent that is almost $400 lower than Disney's room only rate for the Boardwalk Inn during December 2008. :yay:

I got a AAA rate yesterday for CSR. My TA tried the day before but there was nothing, then yesterday I got an email from her that she was able to get it.

That is what my AAA agent told me yesterday. I wanted Woods view at WL for you exact Dec 08, but the only thing that was available was Courtyard Bunk bed or Standard Club level, this was also the same avaialibilty on the web site yesterday. (I check separatly to know how much i am saving etc) My agent told me that it is possible that they haven't relased the Woods view rooms yet and other rooms, so keep checking....

I got Beach Club for $267.00 std room Dec. 4-7. AAA rate. We are at AKL Thanksgiving weeknd and am paying $297.00/night!!! Pool view Bunk beds. AAA rate!!!
I can't believe BC is less than AKL.

I wonder if when Disney's website releases the other rooms as available, will AAA be able to get them too? I'd much rather check on my own each day, than to pester my TA.

I am so confused about these rates... We booked through a travel agent who found a AAA room only rate saving us about $400 off of Disney's room only rate. I just received an email from another travel agent saying she still has been unable to get 2008 rates at all. Very odd!
