How Many DVC Points Do You Own?

Over the years, we've had a number of polls about a variety of DVC topics. It's sometimes interesting to repeat those polls.

So, how many DVC points do you own?

375 points for me which is a good number for the two of us. 350 was my original purchase and then my husband gave me a 25 point add on for my birthday! We will add on 100 points or so WHEN they open CRV for point purchase!!

We just sold 450 at VWL, in order to purchase 450 at AKV. We wanted a chunk at AKV to have the 11 month window at a resort that has GVs. :smokin:

I did the same poll about 6 months ago. What I found interesting is that not really many people have over 800 points and most had between 200-400 so I did not feel the need to do a great add on. We have 240 now.

We bought 2000 all at once in 92. We are glad we did it in one contract, would not do it any other way!

We are considering adding another 25 BCV points. Just waiting to see what Disney is going to do about the golfing situation. As I understand the plans, Eagle Pines will be bulldozed to build Four Seasons and Osprey Ridge will be given to Four Seasons as their golf course. OR is DH's favorite. He's threatening to sell some of our DVC points and buy into another resort. The golf courses were the biggest draw for him. So I'm hoping they either retain playing privileges at OR or build another course or two to replace them.

A DL DVC resort (especially at GC) would be a big plus for us, as it would give us another resort to stay at within close proximity of alot of good golf courses in California.

We bought in March 2007, stayed 6 night in a 2 bedroom at SSR in April 2007, staying 5 night in a 1 bedroom at BWV in Feb 2008, and another 2 nights @ SSR for 11 of us after our Disney cruise!:cool1: :cheer2:

DH and I currently own 290 points, 185 at SSR and 105 at AKV. It's the perfect amount for a 1 BDR every other year in a Savannah View at AKV, and a 2 BDR and a studio at SSR on the opposite years. While I know it's the perfect amount I still want 10 more points at AKV, because a round perfect 300 sounds just right. :rolleyes1

Our first purchase was 2 OKW contracts, 1 for 230 points the other for 200 points. That was quickly followed by 270 BWV points which were quickly followed by 300 BCV points... Timeframe maybe 6 months, or a tich longer
