DDP trip starts in '07 ends in '08

So I have the DDP for my trip which spans 12/31/07- 1/6/08.

I have been told that I will be on the '07 DDP since that is when my trip starts. Will I have to fight for my salad at dinner and double check to make sure the auto-tip is being added for the servers come Jan. 1? Anyone have any concerns or comments about the potential confusion during the 1st week of January when 2 different plans may be in effect depending on check-in date?

I'm in the same boat with a trip from Dec 25-Jan 3.

There may be some confusion during the switch-over, but I suspect there will be more confusion from people checking in after January 1 thinking they're entitled to what they were entitled to last year rather than cases like yours where the CM would be confused about the fact that you're entitled to 2007 terms and conditions.

I saw a post last night from someone in the same situation and they were told that their KTTK card would have something on it very recognizable to servers that they were part of the '07 plan and the servers would take credits accordingly.
