Cat 3 Room 8022 [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have been on the waitlist forever for the April 13 Magic cruise. They just called and offered us a Cat 3, room 8022. I think this is one of the smaller Cat 3's with the extra bed in the bedroom. Can anyone tell me about this room, the size, ammenities, noise level, etc? Thank you!

I haven't cruised yet, but am curious, did they offer you a great rate?

Heck NO! I WISH. Seriously, it was at the regular rate. I don't think they discount suites, but I'm not sure. We are really not sure we want to book this one because the whole idea of spending more for a one bedroom suite would be to have extra privacy from the kids. And with the pull down bed in the adult bedroom that means we would have none. I think, (help here please!) that this room has the pull out sofa for two in the living room and a queen bed with a single pull down bed in the bedroom. It was over $9,000 for a family of five.

Lookingforward you're correct on the configuration for 8022 (and the fact that the ONLY discount for suites is Early Booking Savings). :)

That should be one of the quieter locations; it's not directly under the Goofy Pool stage like we were in 8034. You'd be under the adult pool, and that should be much quieter.
