Let's get some thoughts down for Friday. Please post, in addition to the poll, so we can get started.
You can choose more than one.
Friday seems like it will be a good Disneyland Day to me, and if we are there at lunch time, no reason not to assume that we will be going into the parks. If we were waiting until dinner time, some people might not want to use a ticket-day and meeting for dinner in Downtown Disney would be our best option.
If only a small contingent who will be there on Friday wants to do Blue Bayou for lunch, that might be a good day to do it. If more folks arriving later want to go to Blue Bayou, we should rethink that, or just plan on having Some do it on Friday and Some on Sunday, or All on Saturday.

Will the Blue Bayou be open if Pirates is down for rehab?
anyone know.

:( Ugh! Pirates will be down? :( How sad. :(
I get in around 12:30, and will be able to get to the park around 3:00 (rough guess), so I think I'll miss lunch, but I would love to do dinner. Since it's my first night, I'd rather do it in the park, but I won't be at all disappointed if we do it DD either. :) I just want to be with you guys. :) :) :)

I want to eat at Ralph Brennan's! :) Parks can be afterwards if people want to do fireworks, but I prefer Downtown Disney for dinner.
Ralph Brennans, Friday Night, that gets my vote. Inside, outside?

I believe Ralph Brennan's is the Jazz Kitchen - food with a Cajun flavor, and it is delish, as well as has a great atmosphere. If the weather is good, then it'll be nice to sit on the patio & watch the passersby at Downtown Disney. If not, then inside is the better option.
Regarding Blue Bayou, I'ms sorry to say that if the Pirates are down, then Blue Bayou won't be open, either.

Mary Jo, thanks for the info on R.B.s. It sounds good. I guess it makes sense about Blue Bayou being closed if Pirates is. I guess we'll just have to plan another time to come out to DL. :D

I can understand not wanting to waste a ticket day om Friday for those there only half a day.
I can go either way although I voted for inside the park.
I expect to be down there around 4 PM. What are the plans after dinner?????
Ralph Brennan's sounds great. I'll vote for that, too. See, I'm very easy to please. ;) :D We'll just have to set up some times for these meals.
Dave, I think the plan is to have dinner and do the fireworks. Other than that, I don't know. I'm following the leader this time. :D :D :p :p

We've got fireworks down for Saturday, but who'd like to see them on Friday, too? Another option is to go on the fun rides at night (Matterhorn, Big Thunder, CA Screamin', etc. - do you see a pattern? :D )
Who all wants to meet up @ 3pm on Friday? I can add that to the itinerary for the day, so you all have a place to meet .... DL? DCA? Let me know. :)

MaryJo :::raising hand::: Me, Me, Me......I want to meet you at 3:00pm. I forgot that we're doing the fireworks on Saturday. :o
What night would be better for riding rides and what night would be better for the fireworks? :)

If Ralph Brennan's is the decision for Friday night dinner we most definitely need a reservation. What is the count for dinner? And time?
