WISH Team Socks

Would anyone be interested in WISH socks? Last year we put in an order, and I bought 2 pairs. I only use 1 pair for special races, and I sometimes train or race in the second pair. My training pair is starting to wear out, and I'd like to get more. However, since it's a custom order I would need to order 120 pairs of socks (too many for me). Would anyone out there be interested in some socks? The socks are from SockGuy would be around $6/pair + shipping. I've liked the SockGuy socks, and they've done well for me.

OK, I talked with SockGuy, and the minimum order is 120 pairs (not 50 pairs like I thought). We're pretty far away from 120 pairs, so right now this project is on hold.

Based on the interest that was expressed, we have 37 pairs of socks. I'm going to hold out to see if there's any more interest out there. Talk it up at CDC everyone!!!

(Okay, it may not look right, but my feet will be comfortable. Plus, if I can find a tie with lime green in it, I might be able to pull the look off.)

OK, I've added a running tally to the first post. Check the amount that you are interested in ordering, and check that I got the right size. If you didn't ask fo a specific size, I put you down for s/m. Yes, the socks are moisture wicking fabric.

If necessary, find a friend and share the cost of a pair. You can each have one WISH team sock to display in your shadow box with you WDW medal(s). We NEED to wear sneakers AND SOCKS to reach our goal of the finish line. Each pledge gets us a little closer to having socks that will show the distance event world that although we compete as individuals all over the country, we are also part of a TEAM.

You can order an extra pair to donate to your favorite running charity. The inspirational WISH message could also mean a lot to those who are not runners. These socks would make a great Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Birthday,Graduation or "just thinking of you" gift. So please pledge now while the internet and the DIS board are up and running.

The reason I've been off the boards is due to all of the turmoil of this move. We've bought a house in SC; we've sold our house in OH; and we move next week. The movers come Mon, load the truck Wed. Then we drive Thursday, and move in on Friday and Saturday. I can't wait until this is over.
I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel (I just hope its not another move.. er, I mean train.:rolleyes1 )

These are s/m, shoe size 6-10. I normally wear a shoe size 8.5B but my Brooks running shoes are a size 10. The socks fit fine.
