We are thinking of going on a short of last minute trip towards the last couple days of Sept. till the first week of Oct.
Here are the questions that I have-

*How will the weather be like?
*If we were to do family activities with kids ranging from one year old to someone in his 60s, what things are there to do that are resonably priced? We will be staying with family that lives right by Mt. Charleston, so somewhere close to that would be good.
*Are there any new places that opened within the past year?
*Any other info. would be great...we have been there like four-five times, and have family there, so not looking to do all the tourist like things.

We will be there Sept 6 through 11 - we go a few times a year.

It will be VERY HOT - over 90 in the day.

Thank you. Hopefully the weather will be cooler for us since we will go towards the ending of the month.

What do you have planned for your trip?

Is it a similar temp. still in first week in Oct? I wanna catch a few rays during our trip!

In October - starts strong early in the month - like high 80's, maybe low 90's and in low 80's by end of month.

We are slot gamblers so we always stay downtown at the Nugget - this trip we are meeting a friend - on our first day we will "do" Excaliber, NY NY, MGM and Aladdin/now known as Planet Hollywood - we drive up in the early am. Then loaf around in the evening downtown at Main Street Station, California - 4Queens and Fitzgeralds- plus Mermaids - a don't miss place for old time laughs!
On Friday we are going to Star Trek at 11 and spend most of day there (at the Hilton) then possibly quick shopping at Fashion Mall and steak dinner at Circus Circus Steak house.
Saturday will be Ceasars, plus shopping, if needed... maybe a cruise of TI and Paris. Sunday we will go to Sam's Town in pm - in the morning out to the outlet mall and the DISNEY OUTLET store - Woot!
Sunday is Church then probably a movie downtown or at Sam's town - and re visit any place we like. So it is a wild week. As you can see, we like to gamble and shop!
