Pin code - All Star Music only value available?

I received the e-mail pin code yesterday and called to make a reservation for November 15-20. I tried to book Pop Century but the res. agent said that the only value resort available with the pin was the All Star Music. The last time we stayed at ASM was quite a few years ago, so I checked Tripadvisor and there were quite a few negative posts from recent stays and now I'm a little apprehensive about staying here.
I'm just wondering if anyone was able to book any of the other value resorts with the pin code? I did have the option of booking a moderate so I might do that instead.

I'm surprised there would be so many negative reviews of All Star Music. I thought most of their rooms were recently renovated?

All reviews -- especially online ones -- should be taken with a grain of salt.

ASMu has just completed a full renovation of all guest rooms. So the rooms have new beds, new sheets and blankets, new curtains, wallpaper, carpet.. furniture etc.

I can't imagine what they'd have to complain about. :)

Remember.. for YOUR dates, Nov 15 to 20th -- that's the only value that's available. For other days, I'd bet other values are available.

The negative comments were regarding problems with housekeeping and things being stolen from the rooms. You're right about taking them with a grain of salt, I think I'm just disappointed that ASM was the only value resort available.
