Hello Everyone,
Sorry if i have already missed this somewhere else(newbie here-be gentle please),but i am thinking of buying my tickets today with UndercoverTourist before the price increase tomorrow. What i want to know is-Are they a reputable company? If you have used them were you happy with there service?Any warnings about them i would also like to know.
I know they offer free shipping to the UK but do you have to pay extra once they arrive,ie customs etc..?
Thanks to all in advance for helping me.x.

We have used Undercover Tourist for tickets a couple of times now and both times we have been very happy with them. The first time, there was a slight problem with my card going through, they phoned me to sort it out and assured me everything was fine. The tickets arrived 2 days later. Last time we used them, the tickets arrived within 3 days. Both times there has been nothing extra to pay on arrival. I would defintiely recommend them :thumbsup2

Hello,
Thanks for you info, very much appreciated.I want to order today before the price increase tomorrow, what would happen if i had a problem like you did with my card?,Is there someone there today to sort such a problem out if it arised? It says on there site open mon-fri.x.(p.s how do i use my smiles?).x.

The problem with our card was due to the fact that we had just moved and the bank hadn't updated the address properly, so it is unlikely you will have a problem. Even so, if you ordered today, they would more than likely honour today's price even if there was a problem :)

As for the smilies, are you using 'Quick reply' when you respond - if so, the smilies don't work with that.

Used them in May for our last trip in July. Another resounding thumbs up. Very efficient and very quick postage to the UK. Real tickets too - not vouchers.

Hi Tony,
Thanks alot, that was one of the reasons i liked them(tickets not vouchers),amongst others. They seem to be the cheapest for the type of tickets i want, the basic MYW base tickets.Did you have to pay any extras on the tickets when they arrived ie customs?.x.

Nope - no extras to pay. Tickets came via international post. The price on the web site is the final price you pay. I did use the mousesavers discount although this was only $1.00 per ticket!!

Exciting isn't it!!!!!!

In response to your earlier post - yes keep the tickets safe there is no limit on when you first have to use them. Did you get a good deal? We opted for a 4 day with hopper option and got two extra days free.

Hi Tony,
You got a good deal as well then.Out of curiosity i looked on there website this morning to see how much they had gone up,but they are down till tomorrow to sort out the price increase,so we got in,in the nick of time.

I got 7 day MYW base tickets(no extras).
2 adults $211.00each.
2 child $175.00each.So total of $772.00-(£377.00)

We originally only wanted 6days,so yes we got a good deal,a bit complicated so bear with me-the 4dayMYW(plus you got 2days free) adult ticket was $210.95each,child was $174.95 each. But for an extra 95cents each adult and an extra 5cents each child we got 7days.Hope this makes sense to you-i've completley confused myself!!!!!!!.

I know were not going back till 2009 but thats one expense out of the way,and a cheap, good deal i believe.x.

Hi

I have ordered some tickets from this site... where people said that the tickets didn't take long to arrive, what postage did they select? Did you select the free postage to the UK or did you pay the extra (about £14) for express delivery to the UK?

Thanks,
Alice

Hi Alice,
I ordered my tickets with the free potage to the uk on the day before the price increase and they took 10days(inc sat/sun).I know that they ended up selling out on that day,and i've noticed on other threads that people from the uk&usa who ordered on the same day as me are still waiting.x.

Just thought that I would post an update... In case it is helpful to others :)

I ordered the tickets on the evening of the 27th August and they arrived yesterday (5th September) - so that is about 9 days for delivery. I don't think that is bad. The tickets were "real" tickets and were all present and correct :thumbsup2

Hi

No, of course :)

We are going in a couple of weeks and are spending some time at the GF and some time in a condo at the Reunion Resort - so a nice mixture of on-site and off-site I think :goodvibes
