Rain??? That was not rain. I have seen rain before and it didn't look like that. No rain falls from the sky. This came from everyplace. I swear it was shooting out of the walkways. Ahh good times!!!

The temperature dropped to about 78. Yes, folks, 78 degrees, in WDW, in August. :woohoo:
I also remember trading for my first holy grail from a certain pintrader pictured above. :cool1: Da plate, da plate! The infamous F&W plate pin! (http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=21&sid=8175.1186189902)

I do remember that event. But I don't remember the rain. I guess you can erase bad memories like they say. I remember the heat though, that was one of the hottest years I can remember.
But the Mickey pin was so nice, I still have two of them. OOP's only one, yeah I only got one free pin. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Miss those events without the RSP, they were much more fun. I loved the waiting in line, the getting up early, the trading at 4 am with flashlights. the fighting the CM to let you bring your rolling cart filled with traders into the park. Even miss those baby carriages filled with pins.... Vince.....
wish Disney would bring back the old days, they were more fun. Yes I got angry if I couldn't get a pin, but I got up at 2 am, so I never missed one. The last pin event I went to in 2004 I only got 2 of the pins I asked for on the RSP, out of 10 or 12 so I WAS angry. I never liked the RSP.

Looks like a fun memory!
It's been so long since our family has pin traded since were now on the other side of the country.
My fav. pin event was Mean Laureen and Az. Jeff...I think the first one!(I'll have to look at my lanyard) I look at these great pins and can't believe the stuff I had my family doing so I could get them! lol
Thanks for a trip down memory lane!

Scott, that picture was actually taken in August of 2001 at leCeliers.
We had to stop there for Nat and his cheese soup. The only person missing is Larry, because he was the picture taker.
