Cast Members:

Me Lisa - soon to be the big '40' prefers to refer to it as '20-20'
DH Michael (42) - Will do anything for a quiet life
DS Dom (11) - practical joker and general pain in the a***
DD Rachael (19) - Staying at home :scared1: :scared1:

Well this time next week I'll be in sunny (hopefully) Orlando, so I thought it high time I did my pre-trip report.

It was never part of this years plans to do a Summer trip, but as ever the lure of the mouse was just too much. I went to NY on an all girls holiday in April as an early Birthday treat and we had our first Spanish holiday in years in May so another trip was not anywhere on the agenda but then DH started talking about going away for my birthday in September which is not really practical with DS starting a new school etc so we threw caution to the wind and booked another WDW trip instead.

It's a kind of bittersweet trip this time as DD will not be coming with us partly because she doesn't really want to accompany 'the olds' but mainly because she has just started working at the airport so can't get the time off. I shall probably be spending most of the trip on the phone checking she hasn't burned the house down :scared1:

We're staying at the Marriott Fairfield LBV again, it's a really nice hotel in a good location & have got 14 day Ultimate Disney & 3 day Universal park tickets from the internet. We are also planning to visit Clearwater and possibly the Kennedy Space Centre.

I haven't booked that many ADR's this time as we did loads at Christmas and felt a bit tied down to being in a certain place at a certain time each day, but I have booked the Le Cellier, 50's Prime Time, The Rose & Crown & my favourite Crystal Palace and we will definately be calling into Raglan Road at least once. I'm hoping DH will be throwing in a few surprises. I have dropped several broad hints about wanting to go to Cirque Du Soleil ;)

Well that about covers it. Just a few last minute bit's of shopping and holiday haircuts etc to sort. I'm off to check that DD hasn't put our house up on myspace as the next big party venue this summer. Wish me luck ;)
