Valet parking at DVC's ?

Is valet parking free only at the resort you are staying at? Will I be able to take the family to the boardwalk, enjoy the sights and food with valet parking or do I have to pay there because I'm not staying there?:confused:

Valet parking is without charge to any DVC member at any DVC resort. You do not even need to be staying at WDW.

I've been wondering about this. Since valet parking is free, do people park at BW for the walk to Epcot rather than using the transportation? I guess the same question applies to VWL for access to MK?

I look forward to hearing from all of the "veterans" on this issue.
