View Full Version : 1st Post- 1st on site stay at HRH- Super Excited

:banana: Hi ya'll!!! (Sorry, it's a southern thing!) This is my first post and I am doing the happy dance!!!:banana: Hubby, DD 9 and moi are staying at HRH for two nights, August 13, 14th. I did get an "obstructed view" room, but we don't really care, we our more excited about staying on property and being "in the mix" and ambiance that Universal offers.

I think we got a good deal, 2 nights in HRH, 199.00 pr night (deluxe room), and tix thru AAA- buy 1 ticket get 2nd day free with park hop option, $67 for adults and $57 for kids.

I will make sure I provide a trip report with pics when all is said and done. Do some of you vets have any 1st timer advice? Any is appreciated.

P.S.- we will be at HRH EARLY in the AM to drop off our luggage, get our FOTL passes and rock and roll. Did I mention I am doing the happy dance!!! :banana:

Remember to do the parks early in the morning and spend the hot afternoon by the pool and go back to the park again in the evening.

I am sooooo looking forward to that pool! DD is amazed that she will be able to hear music under water. It is quite a novel idea. I have never heard of anywhere else doing that.

you can use your hotel key for fotl on the day you check out for the parks.
it is still valid until the park closes that day.

That is the most awesome part of the whole thing. I love me some Disney, but I think Universal kicks Disney's rear with the whole FOTL dealio.
