We are 12 days out, the itinerary is tweaked as much as it can be tweaked, all of our ADR's are made - so what is a girl to do to wile away the time between now and August 14th? Why start a Pre-Trip Report

After reading so many great pre trip and trip reports, I thought I’d give it a shot. This probably won't be up to the caliber of Princess V, Lauralee131, DisneyJo, Disneyland Mamaa, Nebo and so many others out there, but what the heck I'll give it a try/

I will start, as seems to be standard protocol with the introduction of the cast:

Me (jcc0621) – I don’t have a particular favorite Disney Character, I just LOVE all things Disney.

DH (Scrooge McDuck):scared: – I figured since most people call their non-Disney spouse Grumpy (which is really DH’s favorite character) but I wanted to be different, so Scrooge it is.

DS (Stitch):stitch2: – Is 3 ½ but will be celebrating his 4th birthday at the world. My little thrill seeker is tall enough to ride BTMR and Splash Mountain, and this is all he has been talking about for weeks.

DMom and DDad : Keep reading for their bio's:)

Our trip is August 14th -24th
14th-19th @ POP
19th - 24th @ Mom & Dad's

Some History:

I took my first trip to WDW when I was 9 years old. That trip included my DDad, DMom, Dbrother, and me. We :car: from Philadelphia, stopped in South Carolina overnight, and continued the drive to WDW. At that time only Magic Kingdom existed. We stayed at the Contemporary for 2 nights and 3 days and I thought that the Magic Kingdom was the most glorious place I had ever seen. I was right! We returned again in 1981 (CR), 1986 (off site). In 1990 my parents went to visit my DUncle who was living near Disney. (I had just graduated college and started a new job and had no vacation time to go with them) My DBrother and DSIL went with them. While there they bought a house next door to my Uncle-Surprise!. I now had a place to stay when I wanted to go to Disney!:cool1:

They made settlement in 1991 and so began the yearly trips to Disney. I have only not gone 2 years during this time period: The 1st is when the policy for taking vacation was changed at work and I had to save time for my wedding/honeymoon. The second is when I was pregnant with Stitch.

Scrooge took his first trip in October, 1996. He is a middle school teacher :teacher: , who at the time was also working part-time at the local community center. As part of the 25th anniversary celebration with the boys & girls club, Disney paid for 25000 Boys and Girls Club Members and their chaperones to attend a special celebration. DH and 1 other counselor chaperoned 12 6 – 12 year olds  . We starting dating 1 month later and he has been to Disney every year since (except for the 2 years as listed above.

Stitch took his first trip in my tummy. I actually took a pregnancy test in December, 2002 while Scrooge and I where visiting my parents (Merry Christmas Daddy!) He has visited at 11 months, 23 months, 35 months, and this coming trip – he will be 1 week shy of his 4th birthday. He is tall enough to ride many of the rides now. He is very excited about Splash Mountain and BTMR, but is not so sure about Kali River Rapids or Dinosaur. We are going to let him decide if he wants to ride these once we are there. I hate to see kids that are scared to death and parents forcing them to ride

DMom and DDad : Ages 71 and 78 respectively. As I mentioned earlier they bought a house in FLA in 1991 and moved there when they retired. DMom is a CM at Artist Point and DDad is a CM at Wide World of Sports. I am mentioning them because they will play a big part in this little drama. As CM’s they get us into the parks for free and some awesome discounts on food and merchandise :woohoo: They will play a part in this TR because they will be joining us for some fun and adventures.

“I” started planning this trip when I returned from last year’s trip. We always go in August. DH is a :teacher: and has to be back to work the Tuesday after Labor Day. We did July once, and will never do that again, only because of the Tour Groups. Right after Labor Day I pulled out the calender and called my mother and told her that we wanted to come down August 11th to the 24th. We were going to drive down like we always do, so we always tack 2 days to the front and 2 days to the back end of our trip.

In February during a snow storm (our only one this year I think) I was playing around on the :surfweb: when my yahoo travel best fares module popped up and announced that they had airfare to Orlando for $103.00 round trip. I checked it out but wasn’t too hopeful because those deals are usually for travel within a certain time period and NEVER for when I want to go. I checked out and they actually had this price for the time we wanted to go. :cool1: I spoke to DH and we decided to go for it (having never traveled by plane with a child before this should be interesting). Before I can book I have to make a call to mom and dad. Here is the brief version of this conversation: Me: Dad its Janet. Dad: Hi. Me: Quick Question for you. If we fly down this year can we use your or mom’s :drive: to go back & forth to the parks? Dad: Sure, no problem. Me: Great, I am going to book the flight. We hang up the phone. I get back online and book 3 roundtrip tickets direct to MCO for $117 per ticket (after taxes and all those other fees they put on). We are all set.

Shortly after I hit the confirm order on the ticket purchase the phone rings, it is dad. Dad: Jan, its daddy. Me: Hi Dad, what’s up? Dad: Do you guys want to stay on property this year? We can get you the CM discount. Me: Hmmmmm. Let me talk to Scrooge and I will get back to you. (hang up). Me: Hey Scrooge, Dad wants to know if we want to say on property this year. Scrooge: How much? (see the name fits) Me: Depends on where we stay, but we can get a 40% discount off value season rates. We talked some more, figured out the numbers, and decided we could afford to do 5 days at POP. Called Dad back, he gave me the info to book online through the cast portal. So we are booked for 5 days at POP, August 14th – 19th:cheer2: and then we will be staying at Mom & Dad’s the 19th -24th (We did it this way because we have never had DS in a hotel, so we want to see how things go before doing a whole 2 week trip with him).

After all of the phone calls back and forth things settled down for about a week. I was only planning on doing one character breakfast for DS (as we did last year) and because we were staying at mom & dad’s we always ate there or on 192 somewhere and would just do CS. (I know, I know----:scared1: )

About a week or after this I discovered the Dis, thanks to another site. Boy did I realize pretty quickly that by staying onsite I needed to make more plans and ADR’s. The first thing I did was go buy the UG and passporter. I also subscribed to DLMama’s lover, TGM. Boy is that site a HUGE help when planning a trip, especially if you are an uber planner. One thing I learned last year with DS is to do the MK after we have done all the other parks, because for him nothing else measures up to MK. So after pouring over the UG and TGM this is the schedule that I came up based on TGM’s best days and EMH tips:

8/15/07 – Epcot
8/16/07 – MGM
8/17/07 – AK
8/19/07 – MK
8/20/07 – Check out of Pop/Go to Mom & Dad’s
8/21/07 – Sea World
8/22/07 – MK
8/23/07 – MK
8/24/07 – Fly Home :sad1:

Of course we all know that this won't be the FINAL plan:rolleyes1

Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company.....

This is going to be in 3 parts: Told you all to be patient:goodvibes

In the midst of all of this, mom & dad decide they are going to come home for a visit. My one nephew is making his confirmation and is graduating 8th grade, my other nephew is graduating high school, and my aunt (DDad’s sister) is having her 80th birthday. All of these thing are happening in the span 2 months, so they decide they are going to come visit in May and celebrate everything at one time, even though they aren’t for weeks away. Whatever. I hear they are coming home, my first thought is they are driving, they can take things back with them (mom drives up, dad flies). Everyone knows what that means right – IT’S TIME TO SHOP! :woohoo:

So I started by making my list of everything we would need that I could send down with mom in the car (i.e. non-perishable stuff). I then hit the $ store, which in my case is inappropriately names – it should be the $30 Store, because I never get out of there spending less than that :scared: So I go walking through the dollar store and I find an over the door shoe rack, a pop up hamper, some travel size toiletries, poncho’s, and whole bunch of other stuff that I can’t remember. I then go to CVS and pick up Advil, pepto, tums, bandaids, children’s Tylenol, OTC Clairitin for Stitch and all the other things for the emergencies that thankfully usually never occur. I also get shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, travel toothbrushes. I get home and I pack all of this lovely stuff up in a duffle bag to give to mom to take back with her (less stuff I have to pack!). The best part is the duffle bag will be our extra bag for souvenirs and stuff coming home

I then went to Target and got a $10 umbrella stroller for those late nights when Stitch just can’t walk anymore and a car booster seat for when we are traveling with mom & dad in the car. No gate checking the stroller or booster seat!:thumbsup2

Mom & Dad come home, we have a wonderful time while they are here (One dinner for 15) and they take all of our stuff with them.

After the lovely visit with mom & dad I started revisiting the schedule I made and realized that I needed more ADR’s. Since we always stay at mom & dad’s we usually eat there, on 192 and usually only do a CS at the parks. I knew I wanted to do breakfast at O’Hana for DS’s birthday celebration because he is a HUGE Stitch fan. Other than that we had only eaten in one or 2 other table service restaurants, I had to do a lot of research (food porn). After all of the menu reading and picture looking and dining reviews this is what I came up with (Scrooge usually just says whatever because he doesn’t even want to discuss vacation until a month or so before we leave)

8/14/07 – Plane lands 11:57 am (lunch and dinner open/suggestions welcome we aren’t going to a park this day – Boardwalk or DTD, I think) May just stay at POP and swim and eat at everything pop.
8/15/07 – Breakfast @ O’Hana w/ Lilo & Stitch
8/16/07 – Dinner @ Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
8/17/07 – Boma for Dinner

These were the only ADR’s I made and was quite content with them, until I read the Dis some more and remembered some things from last year. Also, mom told me to pick one night (during the time we are with them) for a date night and she and dad will watch Stitch (woo hoo).

One of the things I remembered is that DS, while he no longer naps, still needs down time and after AK last year we were just beat, and went home and crashed.

With all of the above in mind I made the following changes/additions:

8/17/07 – I cancelled Boma (After AK we will go back to POP, swim, and eat at Everything POP)

8/22/07 – Added LeCellier for me & Scrooge’s for date night.

That should complete all of my changes, or does it?

jcc0621
08-03-2007, 07:45 PM
Of course there are more changes, or at least one more change. As time goes by (for all you Casablanca fans out there) I read more on the Dis and start reading trip reports, pre- trip reports, completed trip reports, well you get the picture. I came across Lauralee131’s PTR for her August trip. From there I linked to DLMama’s PTR, Princess V’s TR, and DisneyJo’s PTR. Go to all of these reports now. You will not be disappointed. I discovered during this light reading that the Pirate & Princess Party is returning and there is one being held during the time we would be there. After discussing with Scrooge, we decided that DS would love this. So I go online and order our P & P Tickets. We are set for August 21st. Hmmmmm, we can get into the MK at 4:00, I wonder if it is too late to make an ADR for this date? What is a girl to do? :confused3 Well, call CRO and find out. DS, while not princess fan, is dying to get into that castle and since I can’t win the castle stay CRT is the only option. I call CRO with no expectations of getting a CRT reservation for dinner less than 90 days out. I called, told the CM what I wanted, and he said “Well, jcc0621, you are in luck we have a 4:30pm ADR available for 4 people” (DDad has no interest in the castle or the party) – book it Dano, well his name wasn’t Dano, but you get the picture.:lmao:

So here is the updated schedule

8/14/07 – Arrive (CS at POP or DTD)
8/15/07 – Breakfast at O’Hana/EPCOT
8/16/07 – Dinner @ Sci-Fi Dine In/MGM
8/17/07 – AK
8/18/07 – MK
8/19/07 – Check out of POP, Check into mom & Dad’s
8/20/07 – Sea World
8/21/07 – Dinner @ CRT/P & P Party (Stalking glasses out for Lauralee131)
8/22/07 – Date Night. Dinner @ LeCellier/EPCOT (Stalking glasses out for DLMama, DisneyJo, S’late, and maybe LL 9can't remember if she is there this day too or not)
8/23/07 – The last hurrah, MK
8/24/07 – Depart for Philly.

The next post will be pictures

I'm all caught up! Glad I wasn't too late...

After reading so many great pre trip and trip reports, I thought I’d give it a shot. This probably won't be up to the caliber of Princess V, Lauralee131, DisneyJo, Disneyland Mamaa, Nebo and so many others out there, but what the heck I'll give it a try/Well, whatEVER! Where's my name? :confused3 :lmao:

Stitch took his first trip in-vitro. I actually took a pregnancy test in December, 2002 while Scrooge and I where visiting my parents (Merry Christmas Daddy!) So did Brookie! I actually took the test the night before we left so I was only 4 weeks along.

He is very excited about Splash Mountain and BTMR, but is not so sure about Kali River Rapids or Dinosaur. We are going to let him decide if he wants to ride these once we are there. I hate to see kids that are scared to death and parents forcing them to ride I didn't want to give it away but Alec (my 6 yo) was very scared on Dinosaur and he was totally all for it before he went on. I really didn't think he'd be scared. Evan (almost 8) was a bit frightened but not as much as Alec. I would suggest your son not go on that. That is the only one I think would be too scary for him.

Here a picture of the whole crew
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/TheFloridaCrew1.jpgI can't see the picture....:confused3

I then went to Target and got a $10 umbrella stroller for those late nights when Stitch just can’t walk anymore and a car booster seat for when we are traveling with mom & dad in the car. No gate checking the stroller or booster seat!:thumbsup2 Excellent idea. Even my boys, who are older than your son, wanted a stroller.

8/22/07 – Added LeCellier for me & Scrooge’s for date night.Good choice!

I think I am going to pass on it. We are going to let him try UNiverse of ENergy though. I figure it will be a good time for a nap:laughing:

BA has loved it since about 7. THis past trip (10) , she made me ride it around 6 times. (that's ok cause I really like it and I got really good at making faces at the camera which I think people like to see in their pics!)

While doing some more reading and TGM research I discover a little something called the Campfire and Movie Night at Fort Wilderness. This is right up DS’s alley. They also have a petting zoo with goats (:wave2: TE) and various other critters, pony rides and wagon rides. DS loves all of these things and I think he would love a campfire sing along with Chip & Dale. Talk to Scrooge and we decide to fit this into the schedule. Hmmmmm, when to go? Well going to MK on a Saturday is NOT the greatest idea in the world. After being 3 straight of being in a park we could really use a laid back kind of day. Okay, Saturday the 18h it is, but what should we do for dinner? Artist Point or WCC? I then read a thread about Trail’s End. I review the menu. Scrooge reviews the menu. It gets a thumbs up. At this point we are about 40 days out, what are the chances we are going to get an ADR at this late date. I call CRO and tell them what we want. Why jcc0621, we happen to have an opening for 4 at 5:00pm at Trail’s End on 8/18/07. Again, I say book it, Dano!
.
Here is the FINAL FINAL plan:

8/14/07 – Leave Philly Airport 9:25am. Arrive MCO 11:57am. ME to POP
Dinner Open

8/15/07 – Breakfast @ O’Hana w/Lilo & Stitch/EPCOT

8/16/07 – Dinner @ Sci-Fi Dine In/MGM

8/17/07 – AK/Dinner @ Everything Pop.

8/18/07 – Dinner @ Trail’s End/Fort Wilderness Campfire/Movie Night

8/19/07 – Check out of Pop/Check into Mom & Dad’s

8/20/07 – Sea World

8/21/07 – Dinner @ CRT/P & P Princess Party

8/22/07 – Date Night. Dinner LeCellier/EPCOT

8/23/07 – MK

8/24/07 – Go Home.

Now that all of the plans are finalized what I should I do with my time? Why shop and Dis, of course (don’t you feel silly even asking). I really thought I was done all of my pre-trip shopping, but was I wrong. I came home and started reading the Dis, yes again. I started reading more trip reports (Disneyolic, Twob4him, Goofy/Meeska’s). I realize my hunt for Disney trip treasures is just beginning. Crocs? What are crocs. To Google I go. What UGLY shoes. I would never where those, I think I will just stick with my Nikes. I go on reading more TR’s, when I come across a great one by puggymom. In her report she talks about Croc shame and how she finally broke down and got some crocs. I thought, can these shoes be this good? I do some more googling and find the crocs website. Ok. They have a couple of pair that are cute so I’ll give them a try. I got a pair of white and LIME patras. I figured if I hated them I could return them. They came in the mail and were waiting for me when I got home from work. I opened the box and thought boy, these things are really light, they can’t be much support for the ankles. I try them one and they fit perfectly. I wear them around the rest of the night, playing outside with Stitch, and I never even realized I had shoes on. Ladies & Gentlemen, we have convert here. I don’t think they will work for me for all day touring at the parks, but for the airport (easy on and off for those security checks!), DTD, Boardwalk, etc I think these are going to be great shoes!

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Crocs.jpg

So I go on reading, reading, and reading the Dis. Now I come across several disers talking about baggalini’s. I say to myself “self, what is a baggalini?” Off to Google again, and I come across the baggalini website. Oh isn’t that a cute bag. I usually have a bag that got I got from QVC, Travelon. It’s a great little bag, little being the key phrase. Not great for WDW when you need to carry all kinds of carp for your kid. At lunch one day I ordered a black baggalini and emailed a picture to DH and told him he bought me my birthday present. He was quite pleased with his purchase, especially because he didn’t have to go to a mall. :rotfl2:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Baggalini.jpg

The next thing I discover are the DISigns boards. Now, I am the least crafty on the face of the earth, but I check it out and I find people willing to create T-Shirt designs for you. I can handle an iron pretty well, si\o I look through the designs by all of the crafty people and had some of them made up for out trip. Now, scrooge WILL NOT wear the same clothes, etc. I figure if I go ahead and make/buy the stuff he WILL wear them. Here are some of the shirts.

Travel Day Shirt for all 2 of us. I don't think this one came out great. I should have used white shirts (with an almost 4 year old:scared1: ) or the iron ons for dark shirts. Oh well, live and learn.

Not that I'm not a true TFW, but I look, um, not good in lime green and so don't have much in the color and decided that red would go better with my wardrobe.

For some reason, I can't see the family photo on page 1, but your photos of your Disney Folder and clothes are there. I check in later -- off to church.

Nice to see Homeschool Mama join in after last night! :wave2:

Got black so Scrooge will carry it:lmao:

Crocs are VERY comfy:thumbsup2

Yay for mentioning me in your pre-TR!!!!

And yay for the shirts, the crocs, and the baggallinis. One day, I think I actully lost Jon in my baggallini for a while...it's SO big! Seriously...I kept finding more and more crap to stuff in it!

My hope is that is will hold everything and not be real bulky:thumbsup2

Love the Loot! :thumbsup2

Kathy

Thanks!

Just checking in! I am enjoying the pre-trip report so far. We have a DS11 and a DD4, so I will be interested in what your DS ends up riding or not.

For some reason, I can't see the family photo on page 1, but your photos of your Disney Folder and clothes are there. I check in later -- off to church.

:welcome: Thanks for joining in. I am going to try and repost that pic. I don't know what's up with it:confused:

Oh my word Janet you certainly have caught the DIS bug haven't you! Crocs, Bagalini and make your own shirts :sad2: :rotfl2: Haven't seen those crocs before are they narrower fitting as I tried the normal ones and they're huge :)

It's all the fault of all you fabulous people;)
Those crocs are soooo comfy. I was able to get my regular size (7M - Don't know what that would be over there) and they fit perfectly.:woohoo:

I feel like I am doing things out of order here a bit, so if I am forgive me. I amtrying to do this all from memory. I got a handy dandy little notebook to take notes for the trip though:thumbsup2

On with the story:

June finally arrives and Scrooge is done school as of June 20th. Stitch drops from full time to part-time at day care/camp (2 days a week). As an only child I think the contact with his friends, even though it is not everyday is good for him and keeps him into the routine. It also give Scrooge 2 days a weekto get that honey do list done:thumbsup2 . I receive word that my elementary school is having a reunion in July, down the shore. We make plans to go for the weekend, as well as some other plans for different day trips throughout the summer. Hopefully all of these plans will make the time til Disney go faster. Fourth of July comes and goes and we make plans to go to Sesame Place where we have season passes. Stitch and his chicken pox had other ideas. THAT WAS A LONG 10 days :sad2: . Try explaining to a 3 almost 4 year old that they can’t go to see their friends, they can’t go to school or the playground. Thank goodness for :teacher: Scrooge. Everyday I came home there was a different art project they did. They baked a dinosaur cake, they made a zoo in a box, they made fish aquariums with blue jello and Swedish fish. Way to go Scrooge:thumbsup2

In the meantime I continue to read the Dis and discover that many of you will be there at the same time we will be there. I hear about a little Lapu meet that sounds like A LOT of fun, but unfortunately it is happening the day after we fly home, so no Lapu’s for me  I do discover that some of us will be at EPCOT on the same day. (Note to self, pack stalking glasses:cool2: ) I also find out that LL will be at the same Pirate & Princess Party, so I am hoping for some Dis meets while we are there.

Here are the pics of the P & P Party Tickets and the shirts we are going to wear. I made mine and the one's for the boys I got at the DIsney store for $4.99 each (minus mom's cast memeber discount:thumbsup2 )

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/PirateShirts.jpg

We are now 8 days out :dance3: .I am NOT packed (someone please pass Tracy the smelling salts, I think she fainted). I still have that pile of stuff on the bed in the middle room. Scrooge won’t even think about packing until the Sunday before we leave. I can’t really pack Stitch until the Saturday or Sunday before because of camp/etc.

Here are some more pics:

We all have these shirts. Mine is lime. Scrooge and Stitch's are Navy.

Stitch's New Cars Sneakers

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Sneakers.jpg

Stuff for Stitch's Backpack.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/StitchsBackpack.jpg

And our suitcases. Notice the Lime Luggage Tags

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Suitcases.jpg

I have done some more shopping of course. I bought a new wallet. I ordered Stitch one of those silicone bracelets that say “If lost please call and it has mine and Scrooge’s cell phone numbers on it. I got some pins off of ebay and I hope they come before we leave. If they do I will post some pics. In the meantime you all have to keep me entertained for the next 8 days so I don’t go crazy waiting for THE DAY to get here.

It is so easy to mix those two up!

I think many babies wind up in utero because the parents were in vitro...."within the glass" (of wine!) ;)

Yay, Janet, such progress! I'm not going to give you a hard time, because I TRIED to pack early, but then needed all my summer clothes the week before and had to wear, wash, and pack AGAIN. No fun. :)

Less than a week...

This is what I am afraid of:guilty:

If it makes you feel any better, we did not pack our clothes for our vacation until the night before, and some the day we were leaving! I prefer to pack everything last minute because I'm the type of person who, if packed earlier, would take everything out just to make sure it was all there!

:thumbsup2

:faint: Janet you are turning to the dark side now you know :rotfl2:

Just finished catching up on a bunch of PTRs. I don't pack until the night before we leave. It's like a ritual, it means I'm really going, it also means that my boys can't wear it again, which means I have to wash it again.

3 straight weeks of vacation!!! I'm sooo jealous, the last time I had that much time off, I gave birth to twins :lmao: . It took all of my energies and much advance overtime to get seven days off. It also means I'll work like a demon(?sp) upon my return.

Have a wonderful trip.:cool1:

Your plan so far sounds good. Except.....and there is always an except.....do you really want the Disney dollars? I found them a big pain in the ****. So, the past time we got the Disney gift cards for everyone. Much easier to keep track of.

So here is the plan. We leave in 3 days, 1 hours and 46 minutes Not that I am counting or anything:rolleyes1

Anyway, you all read the weekend gameplan in my last post, so I have decided that tonight will be sitting on the back patio, laptop on the Dis, and a few :drinking1 I figure this will be my last chance to relax until we are at least at the airport Tuesday morning. In reality I won't relax until the plane has taken off:upsidedow. Right now time is moving at a snails pace but my stomach feel like:jumping1: becasue I am getting so excited.

Stitch is too, he told me today that he doesn't have to go back to school (daycare) until after we go to Walt Disney World. (That's my boy:thumbsup2 ) And he was telling all of his teachers in school that he was going to see Mickey.

Let's go Tuesday, get here already!

I know what you mean about missing the Lapu Salute :sad1: I missed it by 7 days.

Finally, whew, I caught up. :surfweb: I think I am in love with this pre-trip. I am so excited for you! I was laughing and getting excited for you.

Your guest room bed: I love how you have everything lying out. The envelopes so cute!!!! (Making notes... planning to copy)

i have to get on the boat and buy lime green t shirts. (Wonder if DF will wear one? :rotfl: )

I will now succumb to the crocs. i have a pair in mind, they look like ballet slippers. My friend has them. They are way cute... or I really want the flip flop crocs that I think AGPrincess has... (maybe it was another TP, can't remember I read too many! :confused3

Your son sounds amazingly cute and that you talk to your husband about the trip made me smile.

3 more days 3 more days 3 more days. I can't wait to read about it when you get back!!!! I will keep an eye out for more updates. I hope all plans follow through...

Okay, slowly, slowly, I am beginning to see a pattern of who the major players on this board are. I feel kinda stalkerish. :scared:

You are ahead of me.:thumbsup2 I am waiting for Scrooge to finish the yardwork so I can get started on my agenda for the day. You are leaving on MOnday right? What time are you scheduled to get in? If you are planning on being at MK on that day the Fralinger String Band is playing before Spectro.

Explanation of a String Band: Every New Years Day here in Philly we have the Mummers Parade. The String Bands are part (the best part) of this parade, It is over 100 years old and they are really good. If anyone else is there on 8/13 keep an eye out for them:thumbsup2

That sounds fun! We rotate houses for this, and it's always a kind of potluck. The hostess chooses a "theme" and makes the main dish, then the rest of us fill in the appetizers, salads, sides and dessert. Our theme tonight is Mexican, so I'm making a really good and easy refried bean dip, plus I'm taking some of my Dad's homemade salsa and some guacamole. :) Yum!

LOL, Janet!! Ed does the same thing every time we are about to go anywhere! It must be a guy thing!

"I need a new pair of sneakers." After I just get back from getting them for the kids.

"Could you wash my bathing suit .....from last year? I want to bring that one." After I've just packed his newer ones.

"I'm just going to run out and buy some a)gum, b)magazines c) deodorant, or d) all of the above." 30 minutes before we are getting picked up for the airport. (And after I've been asking all week if he needs me to pick up anything for him at the store!!) :headache:

Travel Day dawns bright and sunny, well not really because Scrooge and I got up at 5:15 and there was no sun out yet. Anyway we get ourselves together, Scrooge goes to walk Tinkerbell and put the vacation feeders in the fish tank. I go to wake up Stitch. This was not an easy task but I finally coax him awake and help him get dressed.

We make our way down stairs when at 6:01 the phone rings, why who could that be - It was Tigger wishing Jimmy a Good Morning and a Good Trip.:woohoo: (Side Note: $2.99 for Disney's enchanted call was so worth the look on Stitch's Face). After our friendly wake-up call from Tigger we load up the car to go to the airport valet place that will keep our car while we are away, transport us to the airport, and pick us up when we return. We arrive there, check in, get transported to the airport and are at curbside check in by 7:15. We check our bags, all 3 of which had their ME Stickers on them (Keep this in you mind for later please). We check in and make our way to the security check point by 7:25. OMG the line is down the hall almost into the next terminal we are NEVER going to make our 9:25 flight. Boy they had me fooled, we got through that line in 45 minutes. Although personal opinion it would have been alot faster if they had more than 2 xray machine stations going:rolleyes1

We get through security, after convincing Stitch that it was OK to take his shoes off and walk on the dirty floor, without incident....We were good and followed all of the TSA regulations.

We arrive into Terminal D by 8:20. What to do with Stitch to keep him occupied without driving ourselves or the other people waiting crazy. No need to worry, although they apparently don't have enough security check people they do have a playground for the kids to keep them occupied - BRILLIANT I say! :cheer2: for not having to keep Stitch entertained until flight time. Here are some pics of the airport.

Our Plane
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/PHL5.jpg

Our flight departs on time and we arrive at MCO at 11:40, 17 minutes early:yay:. We grab our personal belongings and take small children by the hand to make our way over to the monorail to terminal B and find Magical Express fairly easily. I check us in, we get in line for the bus to Pop Century (which also goes to AK Lodge). We wait abut 20 minutes for the bus to arrive. We load up and we are on our way. (:offtopic: Scrooge and I were giggling at the people waiting for the buses complaining about having to stand in long lines:rotfl2: )

Our bus loads and it is a full bus so Stitch winds up siting on Scrooges lap. He is so tired from being up early and being excited that he falls asleep before the commercial, I mean video starts. Pop Century is the first stop and we arrive around 1:00 and DMom and DDad are there to greet us and to help us check in. Because we are using their friends and family discount they have to be with us when we check in to show their CM ID so we get the discount. The CM checking us in was great. He asked Scrooge if the refrigerator is for medical purposes and when he told hi it was for milk for Stitch he decided that was a medical reason and gave us the fridge for free:cool1:

We are in the 80's, building 9, Room 9260. Rubik's Cube steps with Mr & Mrs Potato head guarding us across the walkway. We throw down our carry on stuff and head to Everything Pop for some lunch. We grab some burgers & hot dogs and just relax to catch up with DMom & DDad. After lunch we headed to the arcade to let Stitch run a little and the parental units take off for home.

We head back to the room for a little rest and there is a knock on the door. It is the luggage, at least 2 of the 3 pieces of luggage. Scrooge's luggage isn't there:headache: We call the front desk who transfers us to luggage assistance, who inform us that his luggage got left at the airport and it should be in soon. OK, we can live with that.

We are tired and decide not to go to DTD, which was the plan, but to just hang out at POP for the night and get a fresh start in the morning. We ordered pizza delivered to the room for dinner and Stitch watched some Toon Disney and we all justed relaxed. Around 6:30pm I went out to smoke a cigarette (no flames please). The DSA was about 200 feet from our room so I make my way over there and starting writing my notes for this report. It starts to torrential rain and I run to the Rubik's cube that I think is our building, nope it's not. I wait another 20 minutes or so and then make a run for it. I make it back to our room by about 7:25, soaked. It stopped raining at 7:30:headache:

Stitch is still a little wired so we decide to take a walk around the hotel and check things out. We take our cups with us so we can get some drinks to take along with us (The cups were a great investment, especially for the days at the pool) We look around the store but we don't buy anything (Never on the 1st day and never without DMom and her 35% CM discount around) I do have some Disney Dollars that I had gotten for my birthday that I haven't decided what to with. I was checking out the black Micky Beach Crocs but haven't decided if I will get them at this point yet. We explore POP some more. We then head to the arcade and play a few more games before heading back to the room to give Stitch a bath. He is in bed at 9:30 (late for him) and asleep by 9:33.

Scrooge's luggage has still not arrived so we call luggage assistance and they swear that it will be here in the morning. OK, nothing we can do about it now. I call DMom to bring at least a clean shirt and socks for him just in case. She is picking us up in the am for our breakfast with Lilo & Stitch.

Here are some pictures form our walk about the POP:

I'm afraid of the foreshadowing, but, at this point I was going to say that ours came in two deliveries. We were told that it was because they just pull everything out of baggage claim and load it onto appropriate buses. They don't bother to try to keep a party's luggage together because it would involve a ton more work and delays. We were OK with that, too, but we did get our final piece less than 2 hours later. It's not sounding that way for you, I'm sorry to hear...:sad2:

Day 2 dawns bright and sunny, well maybe not, the curtains were drawn and it was DARK in that room.

At 6:45 we receive our friendly wake up call from Stitch. Stitch just thought that was great. First thing Scrooge does is call luggage assistance to see about his missing suitcase. No luck there. They are still trying to track it down:headache: We go about our business of getting ready, except Scrooge who has nothing to get ready with. DMom arrives around 7:15 with clean underwear remember that new underwear I bought him 2 days before we left), socks, and a shirt for Scrooge (he is going to wear his jeans, yes in August He gets ready and we are all out the door by 7:35. We have an 8:15 date with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian for breakfast. We arrive by 8:00a and are seated right away. Stitch is wearing his birthday shirt so he is getting alot of extra attention from the servers and loving every minute of it.

Stitch meets his namesake as well as Lilo, Mickey, and Pluto. All were on, Stitch made a big fuss over Stitch's shirt and did the rest of the gang. After a shaky start by our Stitch (didn't want to meet the characters) all was well and a grand time was had by all.

Stitch and Pluto
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Pluto2.jpg

Stitch and Mickey (notice the fingers in his ears, I forgot to put in his ear plugs, remembered after this pic - no more fingers in the ears!)
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Mickey1.jpg

Stitch and Lilo
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Lilo2.jpg

After our good breakfast, we head over to EPCOT. Our first stop is the stroller rental (remember the stroller I told you I bought ahead of time and sent down to my parents, ye left it in the room. Luckily DMom was with us and CM's get FREE stroller rentals (I really need to convince DH we need to retire to Florida ) We get our loverly purple child carrier with wheels and head straight for Soarin to get fast passes. It was 9:15 and the wait was already 60 minutes. We grab a fast pass with a return time of 10:55 and head over to Figment (Stitch's first pick). We see figment, but Mother of the year again forgot the ear plugs so Stitch got a little freaked by the train and then the explosion (when they take your pic). After Figment we head over to Nemo, BUT first we stop in the DSA to catch a smoke and to PUT IN STITCH's ear plugs *I never said I was a mother of the year candidate)

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Jimmy.jpg

After our quick pit stop Stitch pick the new Nemo ride so we head over to the Living Seas. There was no wait and we walked right on. I thought the ride was very cute, but if I had to wait more than like 10 minutes I wouldn't do it. After we find Nemo we head over for the 10:40 showing of Crush. The 10:40 show was canceled:confused3 so we just walked around the pavilion until it was time for our Soarin fast pass.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Shark1.jpg
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Shark.jpg
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Crush.jpg

After Nemo it is time for some Soarin' We drop the stroller at the parking area and make the 10 mile trek to the que area. We wait another 10 minutes are led to our pre boarding area. ROW 1. I was little leary about Row 1 since this was Stitch's first time riding and though about seeing if someone from row 3 would switch with us (yeah, I know what the HE double hockey sticks was I thinking:eek: ) No need to worry - STITCH LOVED IT. He wasn't thrilled about the golf ball but loved the rest of it. He even lifter his feet in the air when we went over the water because he though his new sneakers were going to get wet!!!!!

After our sight seeing tour over California DMom leaves. She is going to Walmart to buy some clothes for Scrooge. We plan on meeting up with her and Ddad later. Stitch's next choice was the Universe of Energy. Sounded good to me - it's air conditioned and the Heat Index was 102. We wait outside for about 5 minutes (seemed much longer in the heat) and are let into the preshow area. It was a pretty full show and people were mad when the CM's asked them not to sit on the floor. These wold probably be the same people who would sure if they got stepped on:rolleyes: Stitch loved the dinosaurs and mama loved her nap.:thumbsup2 Although I almost got snagged by Stitch afterwards when he asked me which was my favorite dinosaur. Scrooge gave me the name of one to tell him.........

At this point Test Track is 120 minutes:scared:, we are going to be hitting World Showcase with DMom & Ddad later in the day and mission space is being saved for date night. Now was a good time to take a break. First thing though is to grab a fast pass for Test Track. Return time 8:15:scared1: We take the stroller back and begin the long trek to the POP bus stop (even longer without a stroller) Is it me or are the POP bus stops the furthest away at every park:confused: We wait about 20 minutes for a bus and go back to POP Scrooge takes the mugs and heads over to the food court to get drinks and a light lunch. While Stitch and I are waiting there is a knock on the door, I thought it was Scrooge who couldn't use his card key to get in because his hands were full. I was wrong. It was the missing luggage:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: It arrived in tact, well except for the missing name tag and missing ME tag. It did have a big TSA cleared sticker on it though. It was a pretty neon orange. Here is what we think happened. His suitcase was randomly pulled to be checked by the TSA and what ever einstein did the checking took the ME tag off for some reason. Oh well, at this point we didn't care - Scrooge had clothes. I called Dmom and told her return everything to Walmart. Scrooge was very happy when he returned back to the room.

Forgot to mention that when we got back to the room we found this guy guarding the TV remote for us
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/TowelAnimal2.jpg

We relax in the room until about 5:30 when Dmom & Ddad return to go to Epcot with us. We hop in the car and drive over with them. Stitch falls asleep before we are even out of the parking lot (Keep this is the back of your mind for later installments). We arrive get through security and go back to get our stroller (Scrooge is carrying Stitch from the car to the stroller rental area - 43lbs of dead wait) We put Stitch in the stroller
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/JimmySleeping1.jpg
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/JimmySleeping2.jpg

We all decide we are not really hungry so we head to the American pavilion for some burgers and dogs. It was just too hot to eat. Ddad only had a soft pretzel. Stitch wakes up just as we are finishing up but he is not hungry either. I get him some fruit to take with us to munch on as we go and we head over to Mexico to ride the new Mexico ride, stopping along the way to look around the other countries. We all liked it and Stitch said "it's just like IASW" which made us all:laughing: . After Mexico it was time for Test Track. DMom & Ddad left (Ddad had to work the next day and had to get up early) and we got into the FP que for test track. Even with FP it was still a 15 minutes wait. (Side Note: I remembers Stitch's earplugs as soon as he woke up:cheer2: )After the ride and a walk though the post show and store it was 8:50 and we decided to skip Illuminations this night since Stitch wasn't doing well with loud noises. We take the stroller back and head over to the POP bus stop and hit the line just as a bus pulls in. We are back at POP by 9:30, get Stitch ready for bed, he wants Stacy on to fall asleep:sad2: and is sleeping like an angel by the time he hits #5 on her list. Scrooge and I sit up a while talking and then we both go sleep. We are tired, and this was only Day 1.

Tune in tomorrow our next exciting adventure. Same bat time, same bat channel

OMGoodness, we could not survive WDW without Billy's earplugs!! No way! And I have to admit that even I wear earplugs on rides like Dinosaur! Yikes, that thing is L-O-U-D!!

It certainly sounds hot; poor Scrooge in his long jeans! Ugh!

Definitely a good call on the midday nap...I certainly think that does qualify you for a MOTY nomination!! :goodvibes

Looking forward to the next installment....

Kathy

I will definitely invest in the ear plugs for the next trip too. They were such a life saver. Stitch has had a real problem with lud stuff since he had his tubes put in.

We never did nap, but we just relaxed, so I guess that counts:thumbsup2

What a great day Janet, that breakfast looked yummy especially the pineapples.

Stitch looks so cute with the characters.

And thank goodness Scrooge got his luggage.

Can't wait to hear more popcorn::

Hopefully tonight:cool2:

48 hours:eek: I think I would have had to hurt someone. It taught me to have one change of clothing in the carry on from now on. We usually drive so I didn't think we'd need it. Oh well, live and learn.

We make our way down stairs when at 6:01 the phone rings, why who could that be - It was Tigger wishing Jimmy a Good Morning and a Good Trip.:woohoo: (Side Note: $2.99 for Disney's enchanted call was so worth the look on Stitch's Face). This is totally cool! I wish I had known for my kiddos....

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/PHL2.jpgVery nice! :thumbsup2

(:offtopic: Scrooge and I were giggling at the people waiting for the buses complaining about having to stand in long lines:rotfl2: )That is sooooooooo not off topic! That is too funny and I wonder what these people were thinking when they actually had to wait in real lines....

He asked Scrooge if the refrigerator is for medical purposes and when he told hi it was for milk for Stitch he decided that was a medical reason and gave us the fridge for free:cool1: Isn't it medically necessary that kids receive their calcium every day? ;)

Around 6:30pm I went out to smoke a cigarette (no flames please). The DSA was about 200 feet from our room so I make my way over there and starting writing my notes for this report. http://www.gifs.net/Animation11/Everything_Else/Smoking/Cartoon_lighter.gif
Well, how can you smoke without a flame? From a nonsmoker...I thank you for using the DSA! :thumbsup2

He is in bed at 9:30 (late for him) and asleep by 9:33. Isn't this the best?

Hoping it gets better from here (as far as the luggage goes). But I've only read this one update so far...

After Figment we head over to Nemo, BUT first we stop in the DSA to catch a smoke and to PUT IN STITCH's ear plugs *I never said I was a mother of the year candidate)http://www.gifs.net/Animation11/Everything_Else/Smoking/Cruella_smokes.gifSorry...I just had to do it!

He even lifter his feet in the air when we went over the water because he though his new sneakers were going to get wet!!!!!Ten mile trek is right! But totally worth it ... especially with FPs!!! Glad he liked it. My boys loved it too! Oops...giving away too much. Well, maybe I'm just kidding....:confused3

Magical? Yes. Express? Not so much. :sad2:

I make it back to our room by about 7:25, soaked. It stopped raining at 7:30:headache:

Well I am caught up and thoroughly enjoyed reading! WTG on starting up so quickly after returning! I had tubes when I was 2 and I still have problems with my ears (I'm 25). I have to wear the earplanes when flying, and even then my ears still won't pop all the way. Last year after flying back from Hawaii, our layover was in Atlanta and I was crying in the airport b/c my right ear was hurting so bad. It was stopped up for a week after I got home. In general, loud noises don't bother me....just loud bass. It rattles my ears!

The plan was to sleep in today. Apparently Stitch did not read this part of the plan because he decided that 6:30 was a GOOD time to wake up. We had a light breakfast in the room (yogurt and granola bars) changed into our swimsuits and were headed to the Hippy Dippy Pool at 8:30am. We played and swam (Stitch’s swimming really improved during this trip!) and at 10:00am the lifeguard came over to ask Stitch if he wanted to help officially open the pool. He was playing shy this morning so we declined. Some pictures from the pool:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/HippyDippyPool5.jpg

We played and swam some more and at about 11:00am decided this would be a good time for a light/early lunch. We dry off and head into the food court – OMG where did all of these people come from?:confused3 Aren’t they supposed to be at the parks by now? Oh well, we grabbed some fruit and some other easy to transport munchables, fill up our mugs, and head back to the room for a snack and a rest.

When we got there Stitch’s stuffed animals were guarding the room.

We rested for a few minutes (watching Stacy:sick: ) and then started to get ready for our afternoon/evening at Disney/MGM Studios. Around 2:00 we head out to the bus stop. The bus arrives and as we are headed to MGM Stitch falls asleep on the bus (see the theme developing here). Luckily we had the umbrella stroller so Scrooge did not have to carry him from the bus, through the turnstiles, to get a stroller. We get to MGM, I go through security (Scrooge had Stitch in the stroller but no bags) and we go through the turnstiles. We stopped to get some $2.00 Advil because Scrooge had a headache and get a prime spot (in the shade) on Hollywood Blvd for the parade. At this point it is about 2:45; the parade starts at 3:00 but won’t get to where we are until about 3:25 or so. Stitch wakes up about 3 minutes before the parade gets to us and loves it (We remembered to put his ear plugs in, while he was sleeping which was not so easy). He is very into the Power Rangers right now (which is odd because we don’t let him watch them, I figure his friends at school must watch them and talk about them) so he was very excited to see the Red Ranger (Confused). I like this parade, but it is kind of old now so I will be glad to see something new when we return next year.::yes::

After the motorcade we headed over to Playhouse Disney Live on Stage. This show is cute but again I will be glad when the new show is up and running next year, it is time for an update. (This is something I noticed throughout MGM, A LOT of things need updating, like it is the lonely neglected step-child) After our singing and dancing review with Bear and the gang we headed over to Sci-Fi for our 4:45 ADR. We were seated right away and our server was great. Very attentive without being overbearing. Scrooge had the butcher steak which was very good. Stitch had the mac & cheese and ate every bite, so it must have been good too. What I ordered, not so much :sad2: I had the Shrimp & Penne Pasta which was eh. The shrimp part was good, but the pasta was dry. I am no Betty Crocker, but how do you make DRY pasta? The atmosphere of this place alone would make me go back, but I would not order the Shrimp & Penne Pasta

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/SciFiDineIn4.jpg

By the time dinner was over Stitch had had it, so to avoid a major meltdown we let him play in the HISK playground until it closed. We then just did some walking around (sightseeing in Hollywood) and some shopping. Stitch was all gung ho prior to the trip about riding Start Tours but when the time came he did not want to and we didn’t force him.

Isn't it nice to have a sleep-in/relaxing morning at WDW? We tried it for the first time last year and it will definitely be in our plans from now on!

It's true what they say about younger kids; the thing they remember most about their vacation is the POOL!! Looks like Stitch really enjoyed the Hippy-Dippy.

Day 4 – 8/17/07 – Animal Kingdom

We start our morning with a “loverly” wake up call from Stitch (Stitch say No sleeping!) We got ready, headed for the bus and were at AK by 8:45am. I am very excited because this will be my first park opening EVER! DMom met up with us and we were through the turnstiles by 8:55, let’s go see the opening show. Um, maybe not........

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Opening1.jpg

See that Sea of humanity – that is all I saw. After the opening most of that sea took off for Everest. We headed in the other direction. We stopped at Tusker house for some breakfast and after getting everyone settled I ran to the Safari to get FP’s (Return time 10:15). We have our caffeine products, bagels, and cinnamon buns and Dmom took off for home (she had to work that night) and we had a restroom and smoke break (yes DM in the DSA::yes:: ) and then headed to our safari. This was the best safari I had been on! The animals were the liveliest I had ever seen them. The lion actually roared – for the longest time I thought he was a fake because he was always in the same spot and position ever time we rode this ride. Like the jungle cruise this ride is made even better if you have a good driver and we did. He really sold the story. After our 2 week safari (which amazingly seems like only 5 minutes) we went to Rafiki’s Planet Watch (which was 5 minutes, but seemed like 2 hours :confused3 ). Stitch was cranky this morning (don’t really know why) so basically we walked around the building, went outside and petted some goats (Hi TE:wave2: ) and got back on the train to go back. I determined that it was 11:30 at this point and part Stitch’s crankiness was that he was hungry (He had basically had a half of a half of a bagel and some OJ for breakfast. After we get off the train we went to pizzafari for lunch. This really rejuvenated Stitch and he picked the Festival of the Lion King as our next attraction. I LOVE this show. Stitch was mesmerized. He got very excited when he saw Timon & Pumbaa. After imitating a giraffe we head out and Stitch decides he wants to do the character trails. We start with Donald
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Donald2.jpg

then Goofy
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Goofy2.jpg

Then Minnie
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Minnie1.jpg

and finally Mickey
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x262/jcc0621/Mickey1-1.jpg

After our autograph collecting we start to walk over to Dinoland so that Stitch can ride Triceratop Spin. On the way there Stitch sees the trails to meet Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger and he wanted to do this. Fine with me. We went through honey break cycles but Stitch was really good and patient and waited his turn. He met the 100 Acre Wood Gang

This stop put a little glitch into the plan but ya know what – SO WHAT! Stitch was happy and we were all having a great time. After meeting Pooh and the gang it was parade time so we found a nice shady spot where Stitch was able to just sit in the stroller and relax with a big bottle of water. The parade was great and Stitch got shake hands with Baloo and Chip, which made his day! After the parade we took a potty and smoke break (YES, DM in the DSA:upsidedow ) and then headed over to Dinoland. There we rode Triceratop Spin Twice and then played a couple of the games – Stitch one 2 frogs and a lizard looking thing. We rode Triceratop Spin one more time for luck and headed out to the bus. It was 5:45 (AK closed at 6:00) but I was surprised the bus was not more crowded. People must have been milking every last ride they could before closing. We got back to POP after the loooonnnnnnngggggessssstttttt bus ride in history. I swear we passed the McDonald’s on the Osceola Parkway 4 times. We got back to the room and we found the stuffed animals watching Stacy:sad2: and guarding the remote.

Scrooge grabbed the mugs and headed to the food court for some dinner. After a brief respite for dinner and some Toon Disney (I just couldn’t take another second of Stacy:eek: ) we went to the computer pool for some swimming.

Stitch though it was so cool that we were swimming at night and the computer pool was quiet and relaxing. We swam until about 9:15am, went back to the room and got Stitch ready for bed. He crashed in about 10 minutes. Scrooge and I got ourselves and our stuff together for the next day and discussed the plan for tomorrow. The plan calls for some more swimming in the morning and then heading to Fort Wilderness Campground for some pony rides, the petting farm, dinner, and Chip & Dale’s Campfire Sing A Long.

Tune in tomorrow for our next exciting chapter.

Do we swim again????? Does Stitch get to meet Chip & Dale?

Same bat time. Same bat channel

Thanks for reading.......

great update! Stitch doesn't smile too much eh? I thought he'd have a grin ear-to-ear when meeting Winnie the Pooh. Did he get all their autographs?

We start our morning with a “loverly” wake up call from Stitch

See, now I've got you doing it, too. :lmao: Sorry, TE. ;)

This was the best safari I had been on!

I love the safari!

went outside and petted some goats (Hi TE:wave2: )

:lmao:

I still love swimming at night. Growing up, my grandparents lived right across the street from us, and they had a loverly, big, inground pool. It was so relaxing and cool to swim after dark, always. :wizard:

:sad2: He is just like his father. I will have to see if I can get a wedding picture posted. He barely smiled in those. Drives:headache: me crazy

The swimming was very relaxing, well as much as you can relax with a 4 year old with you:)

I like that you didn't rush Stitch. When a child is cranky at all, rushing them just doesn't help. As long as you all were having a good time all in all and spending precious family time together, that is what really counts! Being happy as a family is something wonderful!

Thank you for using the DSAs.....I love the shout-outs to me. Keep up the good work! :thumbsup2 Oh, and the shout-out to TE with the goat? Priceless. Who else would we all think of when looking at a goat? :lmao:

Sorry I am late! Great TR so far. I have to say that I love your Stitch. Not wanting to get his socks dirty at the security check... my family would love him. My mom was a neat freak. (I love her to death!) Now my DF does not like sticky things. His mom was an anti-sticky freak. (Such as ice cream or caramel, sugary things).

I am glad that you guys had fun so far. Cant wait for the next update.

I am very excited because this will be my first park opening EVER! :woohoo: Rope drops great, you can get so much done :thumbsup2

The lion actually roared – for the longest time I thought he was a fake because he was always in the same spot and position ever time we rode this ride. Wow they've always been sleeping when we've gone through!

petted some goats (Hi TE:wave2: ) :rotfl:
