Up date on Jarrod's surgery

Jarrod, my autistic foster son, had heel chord lengthening surgery last week.
Both legs are in casts and he had a rough first couple of days. (The pain med given made him sick :( ) He's up and around, there isn't many places that he can't get to now :) We rented him a wheelchair for school and for use when we go places that he'd have a lot of walking.

He's a boy with an attitude when he gets in his wheelchair :) He wants to do it his self. (push and move from place to place) His sence of humor is back and all I can say is look out Mrs. Lamb (his school teacher) he's all yours tomorrow!

This is great news Gerri. :) I'm glad Jarrod is on the mend. ;) You can always tell when they're feeling better....it shows in their 'attitude' :D Thanks for the update. :)

Gerri - I'm sure that you are relieved that the surgery is over. You can't keep a good kid down, and it sounds like Jarrod has all the spirit he needs to get through this. I just hope that you can keep up with him. :)
