Transportation from OKW to Island of Adventure?

Does anyone have any ideas as to how we could get to Islands of Adventure from onsite Old key West resort if we don't have a car. Also, any ideas on a 1 way trip to the Orlando airport from Old Key West. We're driving from Jacksonville and thought maybe we could just get a rental car for 1 day since we're staying w/friends there. And won't really need it in WDW. Car rental rates are sky high!!!

I just checked into this same question a few days ago. Mears Motor Shuttle will take you round trip to Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios for about $12 per person and ******** will take a load (up to 10 I think) for about $54, so it looks like if you have 4 people or fewer Mears would be cheaper but if you have more than 4 people ******** would be cheaper.
