Hi,
I would love to ship a box (per recommendations on this board) to our hotel the Dolphin prior to our arrival on February 17th. (due primarily to wanting/needing healthy snacks, cereal and soy milk for our toddler).
Has anyone ever done this and NOT had the box be at the hotel when they arrived? Has the hotel not been able to recover the box?
I was also wondering how far in advance I should ship the box (we are in California).

Should we mark the box a specific way?

Thanks so much,
Sue

Many give the advice to use grocer.net, but I think it's easier to ship because you can choose items specifically designed for your family, and it takes too darn long to surf that website to shop, lol. I have read on these boards to specifically mark the box "please hold for guest (your name) arriving on such and such a date". Maybe you could call the Dolphin and ask the front desk about this to be sure? People on these boards seem to ship packages to themselves all of the time.

It is a great idea right now with tight airport security to keep your luggage to a minimuml. We used to check a collapsible gym bag full of groceries, but I won't be doing that this time.
