I've been thinking about all of us "Dis Friends For Life." <--Thanks, Steve. When we weren't sure if Ray was okay, it made quite a few of us worry. It was no different than worrying about a friend that lives near you other than the fact that I couldn't just go over to his house and knock on his door and say, "Are you okay? Do you need anything? What's going on?"

I don't want to be pushy (Hush! :p ) and tell anybody what to do, but I was thinking that it might be a good idea to let someone in your "real life" know how to get in touch with us if something happens to you and you have to be offline ( :eek: :eek: :eek: ). Everyone always feel free to call me. I might not answer if you call late at night (after 9:00 p.m. :rolleyes: ). You can even call collect if you want. :D I love all my Dis friends, and I don't want to worry like this again. :D Okay. I'm done being bossy. Now, I'm off to teach Alan how to post again. He'll be thrilled. :rolleyes:

The lesson that I've learned from this is that we aren't anonymous, faceless people anymore to each other. We're great friends. {insert mushy smilie here}
Okay. Enough sappy for now.

That's weird. I was chatting with Barb last night, and we were discussing the same thing. If something bad happened to us, how would we let our friends on the DIS know? I'm going to give a list to my brother this weekend of people he would need to call. You guys are family to me.

Steve, I'm glad. You're like family to me, too. My slightly older, sexy brother. :D I hoped that no one would think I was being morbid, but you never know what's going to happen to you from one day to the next.

Already done! I feel the same way as y'all do. It's always reassuring to ask has anyone heard from... AND get a response yes I have and...

I have shown Jimmy where my DIS list is so he can always reach you guys. {{{HUGS}}}

Steve's right, we were just discussing this. See, we all think alike, too! ;) I'm sure the boys here would take card of notifying you if something was wrong. All of my listed "favorites" are DIS related, so they'd have no trouble locating you. I will show them the address and phone list so they could make calls as needed. If they fail at their duty, I know my sister Nancy will come through. She's here on the DIS all the time, too. (well, maybe not as much as me) She would absolutely let you all know if something were wrong. (God forbid, knock on wood) I certainly don't want to go through this again. worrying about someone because they're not here like they should be. Boy, does my imagination run wild after while!:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

So true, Dayna. I have finally found a place where I feel I fit in and have friends for life. I will be giving info to my daughter and sons in case. They always know where to find me after 9:00 pm - right here - either on the boards or in chat.

OK! The Boyfriend will think I have LOST it, but I will try and explain this to him! (He does not get Disney, I can't even get him to the parks!)
