Current Cast Trading

My DD loves pin trading with cast members. She has a collection ready to trade for our upcoming trip. She loves the cast lanyard series and hidden mickeys. She is hoping to finish some sets she started on previous trips. Can anyone share what they have seen on cast lanyards recently or best trading locations.

It varies so much from Cast Member to Cast Member and from trip to trip. The only advice I would give is to keep your eyes open and check every lanyard that you see.

Head to the Yacht and Beach Club ... the managers and some of the greeters in the lobby will go out of their way to help you get the pins you are looking for!!! Ask for Lynette and Emma (front desk managers) at the Yacht ... they are amazing at pin trading. At the Beach, Joel is super .... but most of them are ready and willing to help you find the pins you are looking for.

Just got back on the 20th and I saw a ton of the cuties, various pirate based pins, the topiary pins, the formal pins, and tubing pins. Be on the look out in the morning, saw more unique pins in the mornings than later on in the day

We were at WDW Aug. 15-24. DS got a set of the Hidden Mickey "inner tubes", and also did an entrire set of cauldrons. I got the Captain Hook cauldron to finish my set, and I completed the coffee mug set, the fairy set, and the set of Mickey & Minnie in the hearts. DS also did a set of "formals" and topiaries. We had good luck at Epcot first thing in the morning, and on Main St. first thing in the morning.

DH had started a set of the Mickey head shaped flags from the Epcot countries, but he gave up thinking it would be hard to complete. After he gave up we saw a lot more. He would have been close to having all 12!:rotfl2:

We saw cuties on every lanyard we looked at, sometimes there was nothing else on the lanyard! Lots of pins from the pirate mini pin sets, too.

Best spot that past few trips have been the MCO DisneyPort stores and the BC/YC.

Many CM only pins at both locations.

Keep your eye out for CMs with hip packs! I see a lot of people approach someone with a lanyard and accidentally skip over those wearing the hip packs.
