Are these bags still available at Zellers? If so, any locations near Mississauga or the west end of GTA. Need it for our trip this weekend, not enough time to order by mail.
I was planning on getting the Overland Donner bag in Buffalo on our way down; but now rethinking about the price $52US

When I was in the Kitchener Zellers they still had them there. So your Zellers probably does too. I was looking for the Overland Donner Bag too but too expensive.

Thanks for posting this.. I saw those bags a few months ago, when I wasn't planning a trip, and I had forgotten what brand they were. I just looked the bag up on google and found that yoiu can order it on the zellers site... so I'll go to our zellers, see if its there and if not, order it online. :)

I got my 2nd one at Zellers a few weeks ago - just make sure you keep your recipt and tags - I had issues with the sewing on the strap of the bag coming off. They did replace it without the recipt but told me to keep the tags for next time if it happens again!
It has got to be hands down the most comfortable bag I've carried around the world - and with ds' and his allergies I carry lots in it so it can get heavy!

Where in yoiur Zellers was the bag? When I was at ours the other day looking for it (not knowing what I was looking for) I couldn't find it.

Just got the last black bag at the Kipling/Queensway Zellers for $22.97 plus tax. They still have lots(10plus) of the red and a couple of khaki left.
It's in the luggage area by all the backpacks.

I bought a Lilac Travelmate bag today at Zellers. I found a couple in the luggage section, but alot more in the purses.
I love my travelmate bag. I can't wait to use it on my trip on Nov!

I got a couple of these for our trip, but here's a retarded question:
How are you supposed to wear it? :confused3
I know it's supposed to sling over the shoulder across the chest, but is it designed to hang off your right or left hip? Both seem equally awkward, though less so off the left side.
I feel like such an idiot!:headache:

I know I am the original poster to sing the praises of travelmates here but after a ten day run in wdw with them I was not as keen about them. Poor shoulder strap support and cannot handle as much as it has room for as it becomes a strain. I have replaced my travelmate with this. I have taken this everywhere. I love it so much I now use it as my purse. Note the ever fashionable lime green model lol. I purchased the basic black so it wont show the dirt. I find the strap very comfie and the bag distributes the weight much more evenly.

Its supposed to be worn across the front of you, towards your left side, either resting on your left hip, or on your stomach. Its doesn't feel awkward to me. I find it more comfortable if I tighten the strap right up and have the main part of the bag on my stomach. Its not as comfy if i have the bag hanging lower.
I hope this helps.

Yes I ordered it online and it is a fantastic bag. It rests right over your shoulder where your cell phone goes and easily swings to the front for opening and then swings on your back like a backpack. I ordered it from MEC but you should be able to find it at Coast Mountain Sports.

I tried the one from MEC as well. VERY comfortable. I haven't bought it yet because they didn't have the blue one in stock, and because the bottle holder only holds a 500ml one. 500 ml is pretty small for 2 adults in September. But I might just put a bigger (1L) bottle inside. Still thinking...

DL water is refillable. At WDW we took a big backpack and filled it with water bottles and change of clothes and rented a locker. It worked really well for us. The MEC pack can easily hold a 1 litre bottle and distributes the weight to your back instead of your shoulder.

Drag n fly..
I too bought a travelmate bag in March after you posted about it...
I feel the same way you do. It was great for holding everything...
but the strap dug into my shoulder...it's been in my Disney " box" since we got back... never to be used again.
So I just bought a new one ( I posted already...) that I can't wait to use in March .
It is so comfortable....and tons of room.
I bought it in Black.

They had tons of Travelmates bags at Westmount Mall Zellers in London. All colours (by the luggage upstairs). Now if I can only find the MEC bags somewhere so I can do a comparison.:confused3

At MEC? ;) No really, they should have similar bags in any "outdoors" (camping, hiking) store. I've tried 3-4 different models in 3 stores. Most are very comfortable, but I prefer the one at MEC.

Just curious, as others have said there was not enough room or it was too heavy once all their gear was inside it. What did you pack in your bag to carry to the parks?? Did you find it heavy at all?
Thanks

FYI-The shopping channel has them on today. You can purchase them as part of their Showstopper or on their own. I just ordered tw:cool1: o more of the showstoppers, they are great. We will all have our own heys x-case and travelbag and there is a bonus shoe bag. Worth checking out. Their luggage is great and if we all have one we can all have carry ons ONLY. No more waiting for luggage! :hourglass

I love this bag too. I would also suggest getting the black one. I bought the blue one and the colour shows dirt (I use it daily as a purse) I love how you can swing it under your shoulder so that you can fish around in it without having to rest it on a counter. I'm actually planning on ordering the black one soon.
