I need help. A friend of mine just came back from disney about 2 weeks ago and he said his cousin works at disney and can get 5 day hopper passes for $150 each. does anyone know anyone who works at disney who can get this kind of a deal. It just sounds too good to be true. I am not a risk taker when it comes to money that i really can not shell out. I don't want to get to the parks and get turned down. Can anyone help me here?

Ok, i just found out something else about these tickets they are complimentary tickets to the disney employees. Help me someone. He is only charging me 25 a day, so that makes 100 dollars for 4 days and 125 for 5 days. ~~~~ HELP~~~~

Let's hope your friend does not like his job. I am fairly certain that they are NOT suppose to sell these tickets. However, if he gave them to you I don't think there would be any problem using them.

That sounds too low. Maybe there's some type of special, for CM's who work in Orlando, but my wife, (who works for Disney), said that price is even to low for a 4-day hopper. Hope this helps!

Complimentary tickets are absolutely not for sale. CarolA is correct. You're friend would be fired for selling those tickets....

So it would be a risk to take them. I don't want to spend the money and not have anything in return. My husband just told me that when we arrive at the park is when we will get the tickets and she would have to meet us at the gate. I am just real nervous about this. I have known the guy for a long time. I just don't know his cousin who works for disney.

That is the thing, i bet she is getting them for free and wants to make a little extra on the side. But has anyone ever used these kind of tickets where you have to be met at the gate and let in, and are they hopper passes? Would i beable to hop parks?

My daughter works at Disney and full time CMs can get so many people in per day/week. It is aimed at family and friends of cast members. It is complimentary and not something that is sold.
Once you meet the CM at the gate, you will have an actual pass which is a park hopper for that day (not a park hopper plus).

When I was in Disney's College Program, we were allowed to get guests in the park, with a limit per month. More than likely, the "cousin" is probably making a little money to make it worth his while, since he will actually have to go meet you at the park each and every day!

You may want to think too about the possibility of him not showing up, or being late. I would personally hate to waste time during my vacation. Other than that, the cm's probably won't even bat an eye when he takes you in the park!

We used some of these on our trip in Nov. A friend of my husbands sister got us 4 of them for just 1 day. We went and picked them up from his house, so noone had to meet us at the park. When we first went through, the one my husband had did not work, so he had to go down to customer service and get another one that did work. He told them that he got it from a friend, and they didn't seem to care. When we questioned the girl beforehand, she said she is allowed to get them for friends/family. Of course we did not pay her for them...just bought her a pizza later. And we hopped all day on it!

I too have a cousin that worked at Disney. One day she had to work so she just met us at the gate. The other 3 parks she and her kids went with us. She was really able to show us alot of things. She also took me shopping at the discounted warehouse. I will deeply miss going to the park with her this year. She was laid off and is moving. :(

I don't think i am going to use her after all. I don't know her and if i don't buy the tickets through connections i will lose money. Like i said i know him, and i am a bit nervous that she may not show up. I know she is charging us,( i know she is not surpose too) But i don't want to take that chance. I have never met her. I am not leaving untill the end of march, so anything can happen from now to then.

I think it is the best thing to do too. I usually don't have much luck . So why take the chance at it now. I am too excited about this trip and i don't want any dampers on it. I hope you all have a great time in disney.
