which is the fastest and best way into the park from the hotel? Walk or Boat? I am certain neither take very long. Also, should we be at the gate b4 they open or does everyone get in at the same 9 AM opening. 6 days left til Universal woohoo!:dance3:

What is RPH? Do you meen Royal Pacific Resort? If so, you can take the boat or walk. I like the boat since I walk around the parks all day. It's less than 5 minutes. I don't remember how early it started. You can ask at the desk when you check in.

I really am a newbie about the resorts. There are 12 of in our group and I am trying to plan the best way to get around b4 we get there.....
My understanding is that the boat drops you off at city walk ( all have to travel through city walk) and you go to the park entrance from there or am I wrong about that?

The boat drops you off at Citywalk closer to the entrance to Universal Studios than Islands of Adventure. Sometimes there can be a short wait for a boat around park the opening. The boat loading is near Tower 3 near the convention center.

We usually opt for Tower 1 which is closest to the parks. We find that if we take the stair exit from Tower 1 to Islands of Adventure its a very short walk and usually beats the boat. The walk comes out by Margerittaville by Islands of Adventure.
