My wife, daughter, and I are cruising on the Magic on Feb 2 and for some reason our travel agent hasn't given us our travel documents yet. I would appreciate any help from the experts here regarding what activities we might be missing out on etc. Is this a big deal or just an inconvenience? Thank you.

It's a major inconvenience, in my opinion, but one that the TA should be able to solve for you. It's awfully close to the time you sail, which I'm sure you're aware of more than I am. The documents can be picked up at the pier, but DCL has to know about it to prepare for it.
You do need to fill out a couple of the forms and sign the 'contract' page before you can board, but it really takes about 15 minutes to do the first one, including reading the pages, and then 5 minutes or less for the others. There's also a Bahamas Immigration form that you need for when you get to Castaway Cay.
You also need the luggage tags so your bags can catch up to you onboard the ship.
If you haven't already done it, you might consider pre-booking any shore excursions you're interested in. They can be booked by phone anytime after you have paid the full amount of the cruise and 59 days before your cruise.
The number to book shore excursions is 877-566-0968.
You can also book them onboard the ship.
