and you're parents are there with you? I act really really shy and just sit there. If my parents weren't there I'd be jumping up and down. I was just wondering if anyone acts shy when they go somewhere with their parents.

I'm not exactly shy period. No matter who I'm with.

I definitely hold back a little more than I would with just my friends, but I still go nuts.

Not at ALL. I act a fool, with or without them when I go to concerts. I dance, sing, and scream. matter fact, i'm going to a concert next Friday. The screamfest. Aug. 3

I've gone to concerts with my parents and with my friends. I act the same with both. I'd rather sit down and listen to the music than jump around like a lunatic.
That being said, the concerts I see are usually pretty calm.

Once my Mom and my best friends Mom wanted to go the Christina Aguleria and Justin Timberlake concert (yes the one a few years ago)
Well they sat behind us....but I just felt them watching us the whole time! They probably were not watching us, their kids, and were probably watching the concert. It did feel weird!
I didnt like that feeling one bit!!
But that was a few years ago, I think I would be fine now! Like my parents just don't embaress (sp?) me anymore. haha No matter how hard they try, I just laugh along.

I haven't been to a concert (like, a really, real concert) in a long time. The last concert I went to with my mom was an NSYNC concert. I went with my friend and her mom too. We went to three one year after another, and it totally didn't matter that we were with our parents. Sure, they sang and danced too, but it didn't bother me. I just went crazy! Now, years later, the four of us still want to go to a Justin Timberlake concert together.

Yea i get really shy,my parents always embrarrass me, but i wouldnt even want to go with them in the first place xD
Well...I've only ever been to country music concerts with my parents, and those aren't really my thing. I still act crazy because it's a concert and I like the music, but I'd rather be moshing out in the pit at a Linkin Park or Evans Blue concert. But my mom doesn't approve of that kind of music, so I'm outta luck with getting to go to one until she trusts Ryan enough to take Alex and me to a concert.

I act the same with my parents as I do without them. I went to a Kenny Chesney concert with 3 of my friends, my mom, and one of my friend's mom. I still went crazy when he came out.
And before that, I went to a radio stations anniversary show without my mom with all of my friends and I still went nuts during that.
Whenever music is involved, I lose myself completely. I don't care who's there or who sees me, I go crazy.

I have only been to one concert with my parents, and that is how I was. I wasn't jumping up and down and I just wasn't myself.

My parents aren't exactly the concert types.
My dad likes classical music, and my mom likes those light stations on the radio.
And when I act all spazzy and crazy around them, they tell me to stop.
So yeah, if I went to a concert with them it wouldn't be nearly as fun.

I would have to agree. My parents are quite the embarressing type. And they refuse to let anybody go near the section where you can *gasp* buy soveneirs
