Space Mountain

I have never been on Space Mountain before, but it looks like a fun ride!
I plan on going on the ride then we get to WDW and I chicken out.

Compared to Splash mountain and Thunder mountain, how scary of a ride is it?

I've never been on it either Emma, I chickened out also because my dad made it sound scary.

I'm a big roller coaster fan, and Space Mountain is seriously tame.
You know those wild mouse roller coasters in amusement parks? With sharp turns and little dips?
It's that, with Disney magic :]
It's not much worse than BTMR, you should love it.

next time I go to MK I'm going on it and BTMR. but no way splash mountian is has a 40 degree angle drop way to ssteep for me.

With Splash mountain I went on when I was 6. It feels like you are going to fall out of the log (well for me at least) I didn't mind BTMRR or SM.

Space Mountain is a bit rougher than BTTMR (well, you can't see when you're going to drop, it's rather jerky and a little faster.)
It's kind of hard to compare it to Splash Mountain, *** that's a flume ride.

sounds like primevial whirl cause that rides jerky but you can see hills. primevial whirl is my favorite ride ever.

I probobly wouldnt compare it to primevial whirl because Space Mountain doesnt spin. I would just compare it to BTMR except it is a little more like jerky and you cant see when you are going to drop. I love space mountain.

i love space mountain. i wanted to chicken out because it was my first thing to do at disney world (it being one of the classics) but my soon to be stepdad (6 more days til the wedding at WDW!) would not let me chicken out. i loved it. i can't compare it to splash mountain or thunder mountain, as i chickened out on those.

I was scared to go on so my friends got the fastpass for me and then they made me go straight through in, so I couldnt think of chickening out.

It's the best ride there, other than the other Mountains. ;)

it goes like a max of 28 mph (correct me if i'm wrong)

the longest drop is like not even half of SM.

No offense to lovers of it, but I hated Space Mountain. I don't understand why everyone is all like, OMG SPACE MOUNTAIN ROCKS! It was dark the whole time practically with lights that come on every once in awhile. I am clausterphobic though.
