What's the Best On-site Deal to Expect in January?

Hello. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to stay on-site. We'll be going to both parks for two days in late January 2008 during the slow season. The primary reason for us to stay on site would be for the FOTL. But the rates look very steep! Has anyone found deals much below $200 per night in January in the past?

Also, in a related question, do we even need FOTL (or Express Plus) during that time of year? If it's not required, we'll probably just stay at the Doubletree or somewhere else close.

Late January (after MLK) is usually slow....i believe AP rates were in the 150's...but i'm not sure..... if the rooms are cheap, it won't be busy....(we went Feb. 2nd & 3rd and one was a Friday...EP lines weren't even open! but that Saturday, it was busier and we were happy to have them! (Not that the waits were THAT bad, but we're spoiled!)

You are only seeing the rack rate posted.....2008 rates aren't out yet...not even AAA rates! Keep checking....within a couple weeks!
