I'm getting ready to leave for Disney in just a few days!!
I'm looking for an inexpensive hotel/motel in a safe neighborhood off I-75 somewhere south of Atlanta. We will be towing out pop-up so we will need trailer parking. Does anyone have any ideas/experience? Thanks!

SAFE? South of Atlanta? Good luck on that.
You might want to stay somewhere north of downtown Atlanta.

We have stopped for years at the Holiday inn exit 135 (or 136) in Perry GA. Its a decent motel and a nice area. They include a small buffet for breakfast that I figure was worth $20 for my family of 4. Last I checked it was around $60-65 for the night including breakfast.

Look around Forsyth, GA. Lots of Motels there and the State Patrol trains there.

We are in the same situation. We live north of Atlanta. Once you get through the city you will be fine. Check into the city of Tifton, Georiga.

Thanks for the information. We will hopefully make it to somewhere around Forsyth, so that might be a real possibility for us as well as Perry. Tifton might be a little too far for us to travel. Anyway thanks again.

I have stayed at a Quality Inn on Exit #3 of I-475 near Macon. Usually about 45 a night. I was pulling a utility trailer down and had no trouble parking it.
I have also stayed at a Days Inn on Exit 149 off of I-75 in Byron, GA (first exit after you get off of I-475), once again I was pulling the utility trailer and had no trouble parking it. $46.75 a night with tax.

Thanks for the information. I noticed that you live in Madison, we lived in Harvest (N on 53) for about 5 years. We still have friends in the area. Just thought it was interesting.

Kewl!! My parents live in Harvest (Orvil Smith Rd) on grandmother's land, although most of that has been sold off except for the piece mom & dad's house is on, so our family has been in Harvest for about 85 years!!

I agree. The people are really nice there. (We broke down in Forsyth this summer and they were very helpful)
