Day of checkout/golf cart ?

What time does the golf cart need to be returned by on day of check out and where do you leave it, at check out, take it back to the rental place, leave it at cabin, etc?? Thanks

It has to be returned by 11:00am on check out day. You return it to the Bike Barn. There are signs directing you to the exact location which is the cart lot near the campfire/movie area behind the Bike Barn.

Ok...thanks, so I guess the best check out procedure is, take your bags to check out post leave for magical express to pick up, take care of all the check out stuff, then take the golf cart back, catch bus to then take you to airport...does this sound about right?

Yes, that sounds right. Bring your bags to the Outpost for Magical Express, bring golf cart back, take bus back to Outpost, then catch the Magical Express bus to airport. :)

Do you have to have your bags to outpost for magical express by any certain hr? Example if our plane leave at 1pm do we need to have our bags at outpost by 6 am? Thanks

When you check in, the front desk will let you know what time to have everything ready for the trip to the airport. The bags do not necessarily have to be there before you. You can bring them with you on the same bus, if you'd like. It's usually a couple of hours before your flight time. :)

When your bags need to be up front depends on whether you are using Resort Airline Check-In or not. If you are flying on one of the participating airlines and want to use the RAC desk then you all must appear at the RAC desk between the hours of 5am and 1pm with your bags, but no later than 3 hours before your flight.

Your DME bus pickup will be between 2:45 - 3:15 before your flight.

Instead of hauling the luggage up front yourselves, why not have bell services come get it?? If you are staying in a cabin, just call them from your cabin. If you are tent camping, just go to a comfort station and call.

If they are just storing your luggage and you are not using RAC, then you don't even have to drive up that way with them, just turn in the golf cart at the Bike Barn and enjoy the last bit of time you have at WDW.

I need to call bell service to get the bags by 9:00 am, then take the golf cart back to the bike barn, catch the bus to from the bike barn to outpost, then get on the Magical Express bus to then take us to the airport.

Yes, that is correct. Since you are on Delta, you can use the RAC desk, so you can get your boarding passes right there at Ft. Wilderness and check your checked luggage. So when the bell services folks come get your luggage, tell them you will be dropping off your cart and will be up there in a few to check in with RAC. Since your flight is at 1:15, you must do this before 10:15 (or before your bus is scheduled, it could be scheduled as early as 10:00 am) or you will have to take your bags on the bus with you and check in at the airport.
