I found the elusive horn sound...(on another message board:( )

One of the neatest times....pulling out of St. Thomas I was on deck 9....they blew the horn twice, and each time it echoed....very coooooool!

On our cruise, we diverted to San Juan, Puerto Rico for an emergency medical discharge. When we entered the harbor, the horn echoed off El Morro (the ancient fort guarding the harbor entrance). THAT was WAY COOL!!!.

Yes, we have Pluto to thank for that wonderful horn!!! I posted the link to his site on the cruise critic boards so the posters there could here that magical sound also!! Thanks to Pluto's help, I now have the horn sound on my mail box as well as when my computer comes on!! It's a beautiful sound!!!

Although, I am getting soooo use to hearing it now, that when I hear it on the ship -- I may be thinking 'you got mail' !!

My favorite was leaving St Thomas - they did the customary two or three toots with the Holland? and then blasted the Mickey Horn - the other boat was cheering!!

Disney truely knows how to be magical.....I remember being on Royal Carribean, watching the Disney Magic pull out of Port Canaveral with a big party, streamers, and then that wonderful horn.......and then anticipating what RC would do....and waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting......and waiting........hmmmmmmm. It was then that I vowed to sail Disney next.....and they didn't let me down! :D
