Hi guys,
I am trying to find Bula Bar and Grille menu. Does anyone have a copy of it, a link or a picture? I am trying to put together a cheesy b-day book for DH complete with relaxation plan, entertainment and menus  . I know, I know, cheesy should be my middle name! Thank you in advance.

Thanks so much LindaLinda! I can't say that i LOVE Bula Bar, but it's nice once in a while to hang out by the pool all day, do absolutely nothing and not having to dress up for dinner. We are also staying at Portofino - hope their pool has a similar service. Thanks again!

It’s been quite a while since we’ve eaten at Bula and I like to know beforehand what‘s available. Their drinks sound delicious and so exotic! Too bad we don’t drink at all (half a glass of Champagne on New Year’s doesn’t really count), but I might just treat myself to a frozen drink if the mood is right :cool1: ! Bubba’s Mom, thanks again for the pics and LindaLinda for the link. It gives me a good idea of what I can get and I know for a fact DH will be able to find a couple of things to his liking as well.

DH is completely clueless, so he won’t get to slobber until we get there :goodvibes . For some reason we’ve done exclusively Disney for the past couple of years and I am so exited to go back to Universal resorts! How were the rooms? Not too “tired”? We’ve stayed at RPR when it first opened up and the following several years and saw the drastic difference in newness of the rooms from our first few stays and the consequent ones. So this is one of my concerns that rooms will look rundown… Of course after one of those Bula drinks they will probably look like Royal Quarters ;) Just kidding of course

Last summer was our first stay at RPR, and we liked it. In Feb., we stayed at HRH and altho the room was remodeled and nice, we preferred RPR. We just stayed down the hall from where we were last year, and I didn't think the room looked 'tired'...course, i don't "look" for those kind of things .... because I believe if you DO, you WILL find something. I just enjoyed the room..... looked good to me. I don't know when you're going, but the are remodeling the RPR and I have seen a picture of what they plan to do, and :scared: . They are taking the dark, brown bedspreads and replacing them with pastel floral pattern....uugghhh.... we all agreed it looked like cheap, Florida motel :headache: I wish they'd keep it "dark", but unlikely.....oh well...onsite is onsite...and we stay onsite for the convenience and FOTL!

Going in September to RPR and PBH for 7 nights split stay and also at the end of August to HRH for just a few nights to get away from the routine. I am sure we’ll enjoy the room regardless. My only “thing” is I am a clean freak and bathrooms and carpets are my pet peeve. In fact (and I have previously confessed to that) I always carry a bottle of cleaner with me so I am hoping that bathrooms will be as clean as they have always been in our experience with RPR (we’ve stayed several times at the most deluxe resort at Disney and a few times bathroom cleanliness was questionable). We’ve always liked RPR anyway.
Yes, I saw the new design – scary :scared1: .
We are not actually going to Universal this time (doing DC and SW), so FOTL will be wasted :) but wanted to go back to RPR and try Portofino while it’s still cheap for Florida residents ;) . Thanks for your feedback!

I never noticed any problems with carpet or bathrooms while we stayed there...all looked clean to me! (Even when we dropped something and it rolled under the bed...i was a little scared to look under there, but it was clean!) I would notice dirt/mildew in bathroom, as everything is white...my biggest gripe with the bathrooms are the paper was on my left, and i'm right-handed.... :rolleyes1 oh well....ya NEED it...whatcha gonna do?
enjoy your "get-away"..you're lucky to live close enough to do that ..... we have to go to the shore....
