Are you referring to this thread? :confused3

If so I am a regular on that thread and it's not really a place to get "diet info." It's more of a support group for people trying to lose weight OR eat healthier.

Some of us post what we eat (for accountability), or what exercise we have done, or why we're having problems sticking with a plan. We discuss life's little roadblocks as well as where you find inexpensive clothes while you are "in transition". As Eventer said, it is really more of a support group. We've recently talked about how it is a diary that talks back. :goodvibes

I use the thread for support, to whine, to blog! I try to add my support, to answer questions, to give hugs, and prayers... and it is like a diary that talks back!!

Everyone is welcome. It can be overwhelming to join a thread in progress - lots of posters from the start post once or twice, some lurk... I often post to those willing to drop in to join - that you are welcome.... you take what you need from the thread, and give what you can....

Thanks for the responses. I usually click on the peeps last page for diet tips. Glad you guys have a good support group.:)

Come, join, and question!

I'm a fairly new peep (would that be a peeplet??) as I just joined back in April. However, I've found nothing but acceptance and support! Feel free to join and ask your question. I'm sure people would be happy to post their diet tips!

I think of it as moving into a "new" neighborhood - its hard to jump into a group, but if you want to belong, you show up - you definately are invited, and welcome!! (any and all are!! )

The more you join in the conversation with the neighbors, the more you feel a part of the group - some days I can "talk" a lot - - other days I have to actually "work" and cant join the conversation... so I just jump in... for me, that's what matters, "ME" What do I want out of a support group? What do I want to put into a support group? I have to remember in a posting community (unlike the neighborhood) it is a "Strange" medium... and even if *I* feel ignored (and trust me, I'm insecure, I feel left out often!) its "my" problem - because they are there if I ask!! (those are the days when I hear that E Soup program's voice 'so neeedy' - and I hate that, I do NOT want to be needy!!)

So come post!!
