Hello everyone
I have a question for my SIL. She is looking into staying at All Star Sports. She needs a handicap room and she also has 5 kids. Are all the handicap rooms King Size beds or is there ones with two beds. She would need a handicap room connected to regular room with two beds. She has 7 in her party. Would she just have to get a roll away bed for the handicap if its only King size? I hope this makes sense! Thanks for any help:)

She would need a handicapped room and 1 or 2 rooms depending on the age of the children. Handicapped rooms are usually king sized beds and regular are 2 doubles. If the child is over age 2 I believe that she would be stuck with getting an extra room.

Is the party of 7 herself, her husband, and 5 children? If so they would need to get two rooms- one h/a with king and rollaway ( which can be requested) and one connecting room with two doubles. That arrangement would then accomodate all 7. ---Kathy

Are you sure? I think it's a fire code violation to have a rollaway in one of the value hotels. Also there is no room to put it.

We had a roll away at All star sports a few years back for an adult in a king room. It did make it very tight though.

For a party of 3 in an accessible Value resort room, or in the case where someone doesn't want to sleep in the same bed ( for instance, party of 2 with 2 unrelated adults ) that's what they offer in those resorts. It does make for a tight fit, but if someone is just parking an ECV and can walk around inside the room it should be fine. I've been able to maneuver in my power w/c with such a set-up but it's a bit tight- we've usually had to move the king closer to the wall and only have access to that bed then from one side. LIsa has mentioned before that she's been accomodated as a party of 3 in the values with a rollaway also. ---Kathy
